I am on board with Pederson. The FO/GM had between 11-28 million under the cap the 5 years he was there and he took a team with less offensive talent and a GM/Owner hell bent on making money.

We would have a championship coach.

We would basically have a championship coach.

I think Pederson and Moore are my top 2 hopes.

Of course I know nothing.

I think Moore has the youthful upside though he lacks the experience of Pederson.

You should be ... Pederson would trade out Cousins for a 3rd and sign Foles which would be absolutely outstanding.

win, win and win for everybody!

You do try. A coach with pedigree and innovative. Seems like a good choice if he wants to be here.

I thought highly of Pederson after the 2017 season ... so I am on board. But I remember little about him since. Which is true of most of the candidates.

Right now they all seem better than what we had so I just want to get rolling.

I'm not sold on Pederson, but I think he'd be legit

What do people think of the McDaniels rumors...I think after a strike out at HC, some more time under BB, he might be a great candidate

I like Flores a bunch

Moore is boom or bust imo...is he gonna be a Tomlin with 15 straight years of winning seasons to start his young HC career, or like most coordinators, strike out by year 3?

same with Bienemy and Leftwich, who may be fools gold with HOF QB's

just want to see them make the GM hire and get busy looking for HC...

though not sure if it matters until teams are all done playing

I just don't think an asst, whether GM or coach, can do what the great GM or coach above him did or does just by being there, watching, observing. You either have it or you don't. Working for BB doesn't automatically make you better. If you have the qualities to duplicate or expand on those qualities, great hire ... otherwise we've seen a lifetime of failed coordinators that just couldn't do what their boss did ...

that's my worry about McDaniels...but often the first stint at HC fails, so hard to say they don't have it...BB is prime example

Belichick, like Brady, is an anomaly in every way and should be left out of any projections (i.e. BB did it, Brady was a 6th rounder, etc).

Other fanciful "if they can do it, so can we" wishes:

The Steelers 1974 draft with WR Lynn Swann in Round 1, LB Jack Lambert in Round 2, WR John Stallworth in Round 4, and C Mike Webster in Round 5. All four would later be inducted into the Pro-Football Hall of Fame.

Paul Brown and Jim Brown.

Bill Walsh and Joe Montana.

Lane Kiffin.. hard pass..

https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2013/9/30/4785034/lane-kiffin-fired-coaching-timeline-usc-tennessee-raiders

Let’s just say.. I’m a bit skeptical of a guy who might have been a bigger prick than Al Davis.. and that is saying something..

Read his story..

Not a fan..

Egomaniacal misanthropic sociopathic closeted racist..

Not seeing him as a “ locker room loves him” kinda guy..

But, JMO.

He just hired his brother as (I think) DC at Ole Miss. I'll keep an open mind about everyone, but there's wide open and barely open. My mind is barely open about Kiffin.

A #Vikings coach candidate who really intrigues me is 49ers DC DeMeco Ryans.

He's following the same path as Mike Vrabel (NFL LB to LBs coach to DC to HC). Ryans had a fantastic defense this year despite a major weakness at CB. He's a steadying force who connects with players.

I have seen the nepotism train ride through coaching nowhere, enough, thank you..

Even harder pass..
