Dallas will lose one more game at least

Most likely will play Washington in the first round

You see it often in bad teams, even where a coach is fired mid season and a putrid team goes on a winning streak out of no where. Players give that extra that in a league full of parity adds just enough to elevate. BUT on average its not sustainable over a season...
Players running through a wall for their new HC, especially those older more aged players just cannot continue play at that level running through walls leads to injuries and fatigue...

The numbers and stats dont lie, this team won a number of games against the norm or odds, and at some point all things balance out. Call it luck or whatever but you just cannot plan on riding that to conclusion of winning it all... (though there have been anomalies over the years and its not impossible, its just not likely in scheme of probability/odds)

Enjoy the game, this is a young team in coaching and GM, and needs to get younger in areas, especially on D with playmakers (and likely a new DC mind as well)

I agree and certainly a very good post! I just see nothing improving the rest of this season. The defense is historically bad for this franchise and we've had some bad ones. Trying to come up with an Era of worse running game is tough too. It's been fun. Let's see what happens. That's the best I have. I'm really not too down on them. I expected the levy to break eventually.

Great summary (or epitaph lol), and the bold is a bullseye... well, a nice explanation for things to date and how I feel going forward. Anthony Carter, Diggs, blocked Rams FG returned for a TD, Carl Eller destroying lockers at halftime against Dallas, etc. We'll need a lot of that! Again, assuming we make the playoffs. Which is all but a foregone conclusion but still has to be accomplished.

If this team wins 13 games, which it should, that is better than most thought before the year

The key is getting healthy and hot for the playoffs.

SF is on their 3rd QB
Dallas and Philly are not playoff tested

Not waving a white flag yet

The only way are defense can get off the field is after they get scored on. Giving up 400 yds per game is terrible and I don't like how passive Donnashell calls a game. He needs to grow a pair and get after the qb. We get burnt deep regardless. This fall back and react is painful to watch.

KOC is looking more and more like a guy w/o a scheme. We can't run the ball at all (can't even get 1 yard when we need it). Plays look dis functional with defenders unblocked and in the back field immediately. How does this happen routinely on run plays? In all my years of watching football I've never seen a team execute a screen pass so poorly. We're suppose to have all these fast olineman but they are always late getting out on the screens and are blown up behind the LOS. I've seen better run screen passes by the Gophers.

JJ is the only guy keeping this team afloat. W/O him we'd be a grease fire.

This OL couldn't run its way out of a Halloween bag. OK, Christmas stocking.

But IMO "improvements" is a misnomer. Without the personnel, forget it. The whole IOL needs to be replaced except give Ingram a chance. Cleveland is not a guard! But we only have so many resources. Errr, barring a change in philosophy we will have little cap. And our draft assets are less than average. So maybe few resources.

Screen? Cue Mora rant. Meanwhile, Brandel wears Randall McDaniel's vaunted #64 (no offense to him). **** the Wilfs and their malls and property management. Not to mention cousin knee breaker Leonard.

2022 draft was a bust.

The inter division trade back sucked balls and got us nothing.

KAM needs to quit trying to be cute and take first round players, sitting there on graft day at positions of need.

KOC and KAM need to fire Donatello as soon as this season is over.

I have to think back decades, to find worse defensive schemes and performances.

Your defense can NOT GIVE UP 400 YPG, for a month straight in the middle of the season.

We are one and done unless some miracles happen in coaching and the wild card team we play, shits themselves.

Competitive rebuild...

We're competitive BC the roster is still mostly Spielman's.

We're behind on the rebuild to put it mildly.

Hard to move past over priced vets when there's no one on a rookie contract to plug in.

3 chances to add to the D and all we did was fill IR spots. 2/3 look like busts...long term projects at best. And our 1 shot at adding to our OL sees us fielding possible the worst starting G.

If we fall short the blame can lay at Kwesi's feet. When we fall off the cliff in a couple of years I don't think I want him directing a full on rebuild
