Our new coach needs to introduce himself to the rest of the offensive players. Apparently he's unaware that Dalvin Cook plays for the Vikings.

Kirk Cousins was absolutely horrific tonight. Amazing how many bad decisions he made.

Dalvin Cook is atrocious!

How can you tell. He almost never sees the ball, and often isn't even on the field. We look like a One Trick Pony through two weeks.

He looks a step slow for some reason.

Maybe atrocious is harsh but he's not playing well. Definitely not w centerpiece running back anymore. I'd like to see more Chandler and Mattison.

As bad as it was, I think if the Vikings had gotten a TD off the blocked punt, they might have gotten the momentum and sneaked out a victory in Philly.

And Irv Smith soiling himself took a td off the board.

The Vikings are now like the Packers after week 1, except the Vikings didn't have their #1 WR missing, along with 2 Pro Bowl OL,

and they probably won't have the benefit of their OL getting away with dozen holds leading Cook to have a 200 yard performance next week.

Well we can hope that this new coaching staff deals well with adversity and can learn from their OWN MISTAKES (a huge fault of previous regime)

The Randy Ratio didnt work for Moss and its not going to work for Jefferson either...

Kirk still is Kirk.... Lipstick on a pig doesnt make for a great date at the big dance...

Hopefully he'll stop the nonsense 2000 yard campaign and the team focuses on the more important things like winning and not showing up sloppy drunk to the games.

Kirk is a weakness you have to scheme around, just like Bradbury.

KOC needs to realize Kirk will just throw up a prayer if blitzed on the road, you have to have a short outlet or 2 for him on those types of plays.

I think Mullens could surprise if given the chance to play.

KOC can design a good offense.

Donatell needs to coach a more aggressive scheme, or he will soon be out of a job.

Oh my!!!
Two weeks and a visit to both sides of the spectrum ...
Which one is the anomoly?

Cousins and Donatell should have to ride a bus back to Minny.

Guys who didn't play bad:

Punter, Kicker, LS, Darrisaw

As the head coach, O'Connell should have told Donatella to be more aggressive after the first series.

After bringing back the gang and extending Cousins if we don't make a deep run in the playoffs we should clean house even after just one year.

Should have never brought back the aging vets or KC.

Super Bowl or bust. I don't care about the playoffs.

But the owners care about the playoffs, so that's the mandate. Kwesi has to relaunch while contending for a playoff spot, so years 2 and 3 are the targets.

After this game it's clear we need a better defensive coordinator. And Cousins what more needs to be said?

This was the classic Cousins melt down game where it felt like every pass from the mid 3rd quarter on felt like it was going to be picked.

But I'm more concerned with the defense. I did not see a single adjustment all game and we let Philly absolutely roll us. The only difference between our game and the Bills game was Philly took their foot off the gas and coasted the 2nd half.

As Jeff J said in the game day…

Stefon Diggs was right..

He knows a dumpster fire QB when he sees one.

I was getting trash talked for stating the obvious.

Now it should be PAINFULLY obvious, why I think KC was never worth those contracts.

We could have picked Hurts , in 2020, but Spiels/ Zimmer chose Gladney.

We had picks 21 and 25 in that draft..

Yea we got Jefferson…

Good get…

But putting all future QB stock money on Kirk Cousins..in 2020, was idiotic.

That regime took Nate Staley in the 7th round, instead..

IDK who makes the decisions on QB talent now, I assume it is KAM and KOC.

But cousins needs to go.

He needed to go a long time ago.

We are contractually bound to this meatheaded wannabe money dump.

This team will never get it right until they quit brining in retreads, like Cousins, and trying to make those “win now” contractual decisions.

I am looking down the barrel of 55 years dissapoinment, sprinkled with occasional high hopes, chances at greatness, crushed by multiple types of ungodly bad luck and collapse under the pressures of Winning the ultimate Championship.

****ing SKOL, Vikings

No SKOL, Cousins.

Good points Dan. Cousins is like a little boy out there. You'd think at some point they'd at least have a short leash with him. Pull him when he's in panic mode type of thing. The defense was every bit as sad unfortunately. Total clown organization sometimes

I would have put in Mullens in the 4th quarter, they might have won.

I would have gambled with QB Kenny Pickett in the 1st round.

I hope next year's 1st round QB the Vikings draft is a better pick than Pickett.

Hi Guys

Long time

I was at the game and Cousins was brutally bad. The Eagles are not a powerhouse by any stretch but the moment they put any pressure on Cousins he threw up some TERRIBLE balls.

He had 3 picks, should have had 6.

Hope everyone is well

JC

Saw part of a secondary (Peterson, Smith) that aged overnight and is officially over the hill. Poor Bynum decision led to a 50+ yard passing TD. Glad they drafted secondary… get them playing.

Kendrick’s and the middle of the D got trucked again. Philly’s RBs didn’t run much, but we’re effective when they did. Very good OL.

I think if they adjusted, Philly WRs would get a step on them and it would have been 48-7.

Philly D was aggressive. We need a Slay Jr. instead we have Smith Jr, who is garbage.

Cousins went into self preservation mode and that was that.

Not to mention our defense alignments. If we have to play that defense to avoid getting beat deep we will be drafting very high next year. Good to hear from you JC!!

Yes, I would have forced Hurts to beat us deep

I know he had the one to Watkins but he was open by a country mile.

That doesn't count

How did the routes on offense look? Was it all Cousins afraid to pull the trigger and panicking like David F talks about when he sees the Vikes live? I know they showed a few replays where guys were open.
