my predictions are that we make two trades before the deadline:

chase claypool (wr) of the steelers

austin corbett (g) of the panters

What would we primarily use to make the trades, players or picks?

Jefferson has yet to attempt a rush this year on U.S. soil. Thought the telescreen voices from Eagan said they were going to use him in various creative ways.

So how are the Vikes going to be coming out of the break? I sorta kinda feel like buying some nose bleeds ($67 b4 fees) and catching the vibe.

Taking my son to the game.

He is confident.

I'm nervous.

One of us has a lot more letdown experience.

Would love to come out and blow out the cards.

(hoping call of duty release is REEEAALLLY GOOOD and a certain NFL QB has spent a lot of time gaming)

Just win baby!

i'd offer Carolina our 2023 2nd round pick for corbett, jaycee horn, and their 4th round pick...trade the 4th round pick to the steelers for claypool - i'd give the steelers a little more if needed, i.e. nailor, nwangwu, or a later pick.....

the problem with brandin cooks is that he comes with $18mm guaranteed next year....

claypool is big and fast, and he can be moved to te next season if we pick a wr early in the draft....

of course, set the trades up with both teams ahead of time....

i'd also consider converting laquon treadwell to te - he has irv smith measurables, but with better hands....

Horn isn't on the block. It would take at least 2 first rd picks to get them to even hesitate before hanging up.

They might want some choice pics to move up for a quarterback in 2023.

Horn is a top-3 corner in the making on a rookie contract. The Panthers aren’t walking away from that for less than a king’s ransom.

22 years old in his second season and was the 8th pick in the 2021 draft.

Trading him and Corbett to us for a 2nd rd pick would similar to us trading Jefferson and Irv for a 2nd rd pick.

I'm all for banter on hypothetical trades but let's keep them realistic.

we could work out a deal with the steelers for james daniels (g), and chase claypool...daniels is currently rated as the #13 guard with pff, he's 25yr, and signed through '23 & '24 at $8.3mm/yr - this year he's about $1.2mm/yr....

ZED has 9.5 sacks.
So much fun seeing him on our side.

Reagor makes me nervous on pints. He doesn't seem to exude confidence. He seems much more likely to fumble, then to make a nice return.

I was hoping he might become a more confident player with KOC, and that that would to production. But it really hasn't.

Well, at least these kicks haven't cost us a game but the odds are moving in that direction

Not sure Carlson would make clutch kicks. I don't think he has had a lot of shots at game winners with Las Vegas.

If you're going to trade for a kicker, may as well be Justin Tucker.

Carlson had a stretch last season where I think he made four? game-winning kicks in four straight weeks.

For a team that's 6-1, it feels like we have a ton of work to do. Huge gaps in our cover schemes, a placekicker who can't be trusted to kick an extra point, and inconsistent playcalling on offense and defense. I hope these things get better soon.
