Rockhead has become obsessed with pinch hitting this year. No qualms about yanking someone who is raking to get his lefty righty match up. Someone needs to take his ipad away.

Undisputable fact. This whole regime needs to go. The front office, the scouts, the manager, all the coaches from the GCL to the big club. This organization is just putrid.

And just think, the MLB draft is less than a month away. The Twins have the 5th pick. Let's see how Sean Johnson and company can blow this one.

Twins in 1st place in their division.
Never mind it's the worst division in baseball.
Never mind that if they get into the playoffs, they will continue their record streak of playoff ineptitude.
Target field is a great venue except in late October which fans will never experience with this present organization

Despite their near .500 record, if the Twins do make the playoffs by virtue of weak division, I believe they have a better chance in the playoffs than in many seasons past.

The reason is, they have a solid starting rotation, at least for now, though it could change. And one shut down reliever (Duran). Maybe find a couple more by season's end. (Jax? Moran? Trade?)

Pitching rules in the playoffs. And the Twins are in better shape there. We shouldn't have to send an Uber driver to the mound to start at Yankee stadium this year. And in the playoffs you don't need a lot of pitching depth. You just need top guys to perform. In '87 the Twins won it with basically Viola, Bert, Reardon and to some extent El Gasolino...who had a tough world series after being great vs Detroit.

Of course this also depends on Rocco tightening up the rotation and the bullpen. The manager needs to manage like there's no tomorrow, because there isn't. But Rocco will likely stick to script and manage like it's mid June. Got to save his pitchers arms so they're not sore at Thanksgiving dinner.

Before the first half of the 22 season, Jorge Lopez career ERA was over SIX

and he was CURED in half a season, yet the Orioles were more than happy to trade him.

Hmmmmmm

Pulling veteran pitchers after 80 pitches or even fewer is Rocco MO. I doubt it will change.

He also is convinced that the third time a batter faces the starter, the batter will automatically succeed.

Because analytics says averages go up

and that rules all.

iPad will zap him if he doesn't make the change.

So stupid

This little tiff with Gray will result in Rocco letting him get closer to 100 pitches next time, and allow him to fall apart late in a start.

Which will justify what he does. In his world/mind.

He should worry more about the FIRST time some of our relievers face a batter.

We're gonna get screwed on blocking the plate because Jeffers had to move into the lane to catch the ball. I hate this rule so much.

I was at the Twins game last night. Other than the performance of the local 9, it was a perfect night. All the LGBTQ+ vibe added joy throughout the crowd in what otherwise would have been a ho-hum loss. For all of Brad's bragging about Los Angeles, apparently their LGBTQ+ night last night at Dodger Stadium was dogged by protesters and all kinds of complaining. No reason for that. Minnesota proved that being accepting and encouraging to others is possible and positive.

Only the Twins could parlay 3 hits and 11 strike outs into a win. They threw a bullpen game to boot.

Twins choked that one away. Totally should have taken the lead considering they had bases loaded, nobody out, and couldn't score any more runs.
