If the Vikings lose to the Bears, it's hard to see them beating San Fran at home. In the NFL, anything can truly happen and maybe San Fran sleepwalks into Minn, but if they fall to 1-6, they need to think really hard about trading any assets they have. Hunter probably the most likely, to a competing team who needs a pass rusher. Probably could get a 2nd rounder Cousins unlikely, your only hope is a competitor who has lost their starter for the year, however, the no trade and cap makes this all hard, although I would think Cousins would waive his no trade, if it meant making a playoff run. Harrison Smith. Not sure he would fetch much, but maybe a 4th rounder, not sure a blitzing/run stopping safety at the end of the line will fetch much. Hicks seems to be the only other vet that you could get anything (4th/5th rounder). But probably need to find a good team in an injury situation If we end up with say a top 10 pick, you have to take the best available QB. The rest of the draft should be focused on the front 7. The current front 7 is completely devoid of talent, except Hunter. Pace is a nice story, but he's been a bit invisible the last coupel games.
