ORIGINAL: geoffrey greitzer if this kid is a bust kwesi needs to go after this year. enough of this shit. where is the genius?!? Kwesi reminds me of David Kahn so far. I don't know 13-4 off of a steamy mess left by Spielman/Zimmer seems quite genius to me. All the signs of a paper tiger after being bitch slapped by a mediocre Giants team at home in the WC round. We were nothing more than a 500 team that got lucky in one score games. such a sad perspective so many fun sundays; so many happy/relieved people after eight 4th q comebacks but alas, like 31 other teams, there is nothing to feel good about regarding the wasted time spent watching NFL football last season sigh IMO your mistake is in thinking you enjoyed the season more than someone that isn't fixated on the positive. The bottom line is, every sport is based on winning and losing. And winning and losing in the sport of football is NOT decided by individual plays or games, its decided on a seasonal basis with one unit or season = regular season, the playoffs and the SB. Not only am I not sorry for the arrogant and condescending tone but I'll continue ... there are over-optimistic cheer squads and over-pessimistic doom and gloomers. There are the 'wait and see' procrastinators. And then, God bless us, the ping-pongers with no control or predisposition for anything that get bounced in every direction by what's happening. And all the shades in between. The doomers are what they are, trolls. Cheerios are one-dimensional like trolls but they dress like Addison in the draft-room and eat purple lava lamp goo on their french toast. Unlike sourpuss trolls, cheerios are actually BIG fans of the team but otherwise, they're quite similar, picking and choosing from what’s available to stay in their comfort zones. You can choose to stoke your compulsive optimism by reminiscing over and over the positive stats, individual plays or games, or human potential (players, coaches, executives) from the previous season. Ping-Pongers not so much. That doesn't mean they didn't enjoy the highs from the previous season less than you. Poor rumpled tattered hobo ping-pongers don't have that happy place to retreat to while KC throws short to end the season. And we can't forget it either. We actually do enjoy what's happening as we go along - greatly - but we are also unable to ignore or dismiss the only real measuring stick by which all franchises are measured each season: distance to winning a SB.
