We seem to buy high and sell low. I thought KAM was a former wall streeter. Maybe this is why he’s a former one.

We bought Z smith awfully low.

The #vikings saved $12,156,861 by trading Za’Darius Smith and will save 9 million by releasing Dalvin Cook after June 1.

Does Kwesi have something huge up his sleeves?

Smith was a dam good player for 10 games until he got nicked up. I thought we should have kept him. You can never have enough good pass rushers.

Except he always gets nicked up.

You mean like a responsible cap situation?

I really don't mean anything.
I saw DFs post, went to Twitter that was the first tweet, seemed somewhat connected, so i copy and pasted it.
- im on an adventure where all i have is my phone and not as much time as I've had lately. So, im not asking for understanding if i get something wrong, but you've gotta give me some leeway with spelling, etc. ;)

I'm not sure there is any NT FA out there that is going to move the needle... I think there are some options at OL... I have my doubts that they make any OL moves though...

Probably right. That’s the most frustrating thing about our team.

Maybe they can save enough cap money to buY out a certain no trade clause and MOVE THE **** ON?……

If you are going to dream from the depths of contractual cap hell…..then.

Dream of a stairway to heaven .. No more KFC…

While my initial reaction to the schedule was a 7-10 record for the Vikings, another look has me thinking they will win 9 or 10 games, and be challenging for winning the division.

The Vikes had some horrible contracts going into 2023. Thielen, H Smith, Z Smith, and Cook. 3 of them were on Spielman and basically all four are figured out and now cleared up.

There are some very good defensive FA still available.

Some of the savings will likely go to reworking Hunters deal and doing extensions with JJ and TJ, plus signing the draft picks.

My vision.

Kwesi is just placating Cousins with the open to an extention talk. We'll let the season play out. Which will see us competitive for the division, ultimately winning it. Albeit not by the margin we did last year.

One a done again.

JJ wants out.

We trade him and put together a package for the #1 pick. Draft whomever they deem franchise changing elite and we're in a SB within a couple of years.

I'd just as soon roll the cap savings over to next year so we can be players in FA. We were to tapped this year to do very much. A surplus also eliminates the need to kick the can down the road on vet contracts.

Between the mess Rick left and the Wilf's competetive rebuild mandate has put us way to tight against the cap.

Todd, I like your idea of a way to get a high draft pick, but am just not sure if giving up JJ gets Caleb Williams, or another top QB.

I am also concerned about losing JJ, and then striking out with the QB pick.

I would rather they worked out a trade package for a QB where JJ is still a Viking.

My vision starts with the Vikings surprising and stealing the game at Philly, as Flores keeps Philly off balance, the game has a miracle finish and win for the Vikings, like the game at Buffalo last year.

The Vikings once again go 13-4, and get home field advantage in the playoffs.

The Vikings go on a playoff run, make it to the Super Bowl, and possibly even win it.

IF, somehow the Vikings don't win the Super Bowl, they're able to trade with the team that has the #1 pick, and the Vikings draft a franchise QB, who will eventually become a HOFer.

I am not convinced on Caleb.....I know that Addison performed better with Pinkett

I read in a YouTube comment that Addison was the #1 WR at USC before his injury, and that he was quite productive despite all the other targets at USC. And also that he was used in more types of roles with USC.

If Cousins gets us to a SB I lock him in for 3 more years to try and win a ring. He gets a statue if we win.

I think hard about and probably extend him him if we make the NFCCG.

One win isn't enough and he's gone. No wins this year and he gets the hard boot.

Then I trade JJ and 2024/25 1st for the #1 pick.

If you want to placate fans that have never experienced our team hoisting the Lombardi, he'll 75% of fans that have never even seen them in a SB...make a giant move. Give us a draft where we hold the #1 pick and know we're attempting to land a franchise QB.
