GREAT post Brad !!!

THIS:

....Playoff football is not a beauty contest. If running the ball can get you across the finish line, do it. We'd see Bill Belichick do it all the time, despite having Tom Brady. ....

KOC doesn't move to the short passing game when needed.....another thing that Tom Brady did also. Go 5 wide and get rid of the ball.
Against a team that loves to blitz we gave up on the run and went with Medium to deep passing routes most of the game.....we can blame the IOL but the scheme wasn't there either.

A good offensive game plan would have killed that Detroit defense last night.

Sam was off the whole game on everything but we were in a 1 pt game in the middle of the 3rd yet.

And then were were in a 22 point game on the way to a 31-9 trouncing.

Aaron Glenn's defense generated 22 pressures, and Darnold went just 3-of-13 passing on those plays.

That's a good amount of pressure. Sam threw the ball 41 times and was sacked twice. He left a ton of plays on the field - even when he wasn't pressured.

I like KOC as a coach, but he shouldn't be calling the plays. I don't think any HC should call plays on either side of the ball. It takes them away from the bigger picture.

I fully agree with everything especially the last paragraph. He's way too distracted and needs to hand off playcalling duties

He doesn't know how to call plays.
He doesn't know how to manage the clock.
He doesn't know how to manage timeouts.

Again, of what use would he be? Assistant conceptual passing game design coordinator?

WTF was that?

I thought the defense played very well, especially with the offense playing so shitty. Goff didn't light it up. Got two turnovers to boot!

THAT is why you don't franchise Darnold or sign him to some huge contract. He played so poorly. Dude was seeing ghosts out there. Inaccurate. Passes way too high. No vision or anticipation. Poor pocket presence. Too late getting out of the huddle all the time. It was total dogshit. Good luck on your next team.

This was against a team that has had the worst defense in the NFL for weeks.

The kick OOB? WTF was that?!

The refs were clearly in "let's let them play mode" as they were all over our WR and TE. And sorry, that was a safety.

Hock wit ha 3rd down drop again....

NO adjustments after halftime from KOC? Seriously, dude?

That was fukcing embarrassing.

I have no expectation of a win at LAR. 14 wins and zero playoff run. Classic.

This, exactly.

Sam and KOC stunk up the joint both deserve equal credit.

I was kind of hoping he could focus on things like time management if he wasn't calling in his war and peace play calls. If that's too much for him then it's time to move on from him.

Your posts say differently. It was one test in the regular season which hopefully prepares the team for the playoffs. Lets see how they grade on Monday Night. All this bitching is tiring. More tiring then when we are winning and you post it.

Sorry if I'm not impressed by our "high powered" offense not being able to score on practice squad players. If you think that bodes well for next week against the Rams that's fine. I see it differently.

Yeah, a game for a playoff bye and HFA throughout the playoffs where we were crushed was merely "one test in the regular season"

I've enjoyed the season quite a bit. I didn't enjoy the complete incompetence against a practice squad defense that the Niners just lit up. Seems like you can't handle it right now. Maybe you should take a break.

Hey, since you are all about injury excuses what's your latest? And include the fact that near half of the Lions starters were on IR.

Exactly. There's no moral victories on that nonsense put on display last night.

You guys flip faster than a coin. Did you cry last night? Grow up the playoffs haven't started yet. The road just got longer and tougher but my god....

Says the guy wrapped in the warmth of 'we were in a 1 pt game'.

LOL
The tough guy Bill is acting like a baby bawling all day after a loss and says that....quit projecting and stop crying.

Playoffs start next week.

"Playoffs" started last week for us. We squeaked by last week and then laid an egg with everything on the line last night.

Yeah, a game for a playoff bye and HFA throughout the playoffs where we were crushed was merely "one test in the regular season"

Yep...again when do the playoffs start? Is our season officially over? Need another box of Kleenux?

So you have no excuses and have to attack others?

Sam Wheat isn’t going to navigate 3 road wins.

Might as well say bye to Demi and slide through that door.

Hey, since you are all about injury excuses what's your latest? And include the fact that near half of the Lions starters were on IR.

No excuses we got our ass kicked. We puckered up tight one game after winning 9....I am over it and on to the next. How about you?
Maybe you want to rub in Sam's performance on Brad a little more?
