Twins down by two touchdowns!

And extra points?

Yep, with one of them a two point conversion.

Another day with no offense

Tank

And Rocco managing like 10/u or Tball where everyone plays

and hits like 10/u or Tball as well

As of this post, through 6 havent scored for 2 games. Last run was fifth inning Friday.

So sick of "flexibility" on the roster at the cost of Offense.

Keirsey is a LH outfielder who is way outhitting Helman, yet Helman is called up cuz

He hits RH

He can play infield and outfield

How about you play your best players you idiots.

Nothing changes. So I just continue to

Pulled that one outta their arses

Lewis "politely declined" to comment on playing second.

Not everyone wants to play T-Ball Rocco

4:00 Buxton to play in rehab game for stp

Expecting he doesn't make it more than a couple of days and will have some sort of issue.

Squeaked out a w in Tampa

Should have blown them out with all the early chances. Thankfully Lee gave them the extra run they needed

Gassed the pen of decent guys so that's fun

Buxton 1-3/BB/R for STP tonight. Wheeeeee

Ryan is out at least the Regular Season; Correa was at about 65% last week (when running the bases).

I personally think it is a minor miracle that we are still in this race. Still in a playoff spot.

Bullpen has been awful of late. We have three rookies inthe starting rotation. and a few of our best offensive weapons Correa, Buxton, Lee have been on the shelf and others like Lewis, Wallner have been slumping. Yet there we still are within a couple/few games of first place in our division.

Biggest problem is how they are overcoming a lot of their deficiencies despite having a overdependent on analytics buffoon running the team from the dugout.

Smoke and mirrors folks. It's the only explanation how we are still in it.

As good as the rest of the division is we have been very good against Chicago and lesser extent KC (14 games over .500).

Our only legit chance in the playoffs is getting Ryan back by the playoffs which I doubt. Buck and Correa healthy soon would help.

Their record is 38-14 against sub-.500 teams. That's the best in baseball. Which means their record against .500 or greater is 37-48. That's 18th best. They know how to beat up on the bad teams. White Sox in particular.

Take a 2x4 to Rocco's head.
Two on, two outs and he pinch hits Vazquez for Larnach.
I hate Rocco.

Move a runner to 3rd with less than two outs? That doesn't jive with sabermetrics. But pinch hitting for a good young hitter with one with the bottom 10 ops to get right vs left, that jives with sabermetrics. Rocco
is an idiot. AN IDIOT!!

The record is pretty good under Rocco, but I still maintain his nitwit dumbshit analytic overdependent decisions have cost us multiple games.

I wouldn't be sad if he left. well.

I might be sad if he left and they promoted Toby from St Paul. So there would be an exception

Too bad Margot is on the IL. He could have had a shot at 0 for 34 as a PH.

Vazquez and Margot. Rocco's go to pinch hitters at critical game junctions.

Varland with one of the worst outings I've ever seen.

Vazquez didn't help matters by dropping the throw home.

Varland would be far better suited to pitch out of the bullpen. He's got good stuff, like Jax, but it doesn't play well once through the lineup one time. Short stints, three or four batters at most he'll be fine.

Twins cheapness and lack of depth are being exposed now.

I stand by what I said in the spring. Varland's fastball at 99 mph for 1 inning is imposing. Varland's fastball at 95 mph over a few innings is a batting practice pitch.

I'd say that was an accurate assessment.

Another issue....why does it take 3 days to put Kepler on the DL or not get DaShawn Keirsey up for a cup of coffee earlier.

That's been bothering me too. And it is not the first time they've done crap like that this year. Just let a guy take up a roster spot and leave your bench short for days at a time.

Kiersey was a more special case because he would have needed to be added to the 40 man rosters AND they may have been hoping that Buxton would be ready to return and they could just use that roster spot for him. Plus Kiersey is a lefthanded outfielder and we already have a few of those on the roster, (see Wallner and Larnach)

Either way, this waiting to put a clearly ailing guy on the IL...Not really new for the Twins. They used to do it more egregiously with Joe Mauer...

I remember it with Nick Punto more than anyone else.
