ORIGINAL: Brad H Name me a worse starting quarterback option in the NFC right now than JJ McCarthy. Tyler Shouch maybe Marcus Mariota Where was this post last week? So every week the Vikes lose you aren't as busy? Sam Darnold's career playoff victories.....0. 1 less than Kirk Cousins. Also 1 less than Danny Dimes. Exactly. So what should we do about it Brad? Start Brosmer? Or should we keep working on the development of our QB? I'm sorry, I am not willing to abandon this QB after just four games. Most QBs go through these growing pains. So where are those QB ratings for every Great QB after four games I asked you for? Or is all you care about getting people to say, golly gee you're right, or are you going to put out another bullshit blanket statement that if nobody comments that they are agreeing with you? 14-3 We had the answer and got emotional after a playoff loss. No we didn't. It was always the plan to turn the job over to JJM. Always. they were not going to pay Darnold what Seattle offered. He was as good as gone. Daniel Jones they offered more money and he opted to go elsewhere. And where are those QB ratings for say Josh Allen after just four games of his NFL career, Patrick Mahomes? Tom Brady? Peyton Manning? etc etc etc etc. and last years record means NOTHING in 2026. Every team makes changes year to year. So what do we do THIS year since you have all the answers? Our Options are JJM, Brosmer and Wolford. Could woulda shoulda doesn't change anything. Ride the wave....that's what we have to do with JJM. Eventually he will learn to pick up the 1st on 3rd and one when he has the opportunity instead of gambling on a deep shot. Eventually he will learn he doesn't have to throw everything 100mph. EVERY QB takes time to develop. You didn't even give up on JJM cause you never game him a chance. I may come around eventually and say, "you're right" but I will not right now because there isn't enough evidence that he's going to bust. Like any young QB he's going to go through some growing pains. I personally think he's trying a little too hard especially at home. He's a bit too amped up. Needs to settle down and relax a bit
