Big game in two weeks vs the Commanders. Hoping they get on a roll but they have a tough schedule. With Burrow all but back, Cincy could start winning. And go Cousins!

The #12 spot looks like the floor, with #9-11 in play.

It's exciting lol, until the reality of Kwesi drafting enters the equation.

Having said that, there are a lot of other issues at play here as well, as nearly every other big move the Vikings made this offseason has backfired spectacularly. In no particular order:

The Vikings made Byron Murphy Jr. one of the ten highest-paid cornerbacks in the NFL this offseason. Maybe my memory is fuzzy, but I’m having trouble recalling one meaningful play he’s made this season.

The Vikings spent big money on Jon Allen and Javon Hargrave in the hopes of upgrading their pass rush. There have been multiple weeks where they’ve been outplayed by Jalen Redmond, Levi Drake Rodriguez, and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins. They also traded away Harrison Phillips, who seems like a guy they could use.

Will Fries and Ryan Kelly were supposed to solidify the interior of the offensive line. Fries has fallen well short of expectations, while Kelly has once again been plagued by the concussion issues he dealt with in Indianapolis.

If it is the same cap relief, release Hargrave now and play TID and Williams more. No one is trading for Hargrave's contract in the off season.

Has Fries been bad? Thought he was a bright spot.

Poor run blocking.

Was wondering just how bad he is, and how equally bad QBs fared career wise.

I mean, there is poor play that is somewhat normal, then there is off-the-cliff bad.

Plus, a guy that gets so excited that he relapses into bad fundamentals kinda says he doesn't have 'It'. We'll see.

McCarthy was playing with a concussion. That may explain some things. Sounds like he's doubtful for next week's game.

as convenient as the ankle...

and going for the meniscus repair instead of meniscectomy

are they as done with him as we are?

The bar is low. Can Brosmer throw for 100 yards?
