Plus, after starting the season 6-0 they were 4-6 the rest of the reg season losing to every NFC North team at home.

I'm talking to my Bears fan buddy yesterday. Of course he thinks the Packers are going to be great this year. I ask, "Why, what is so different?" Because they got J Nelson back ... really? They're going to the SB because the got a receiver back?

An old receiver coming off of a major injury at that. Did you tell him he's nuts? The fudgepack have way more issues than just missing Jordy last year.

That's quite a feat. I wonder if they can repeat that this year. That would be awesome

Packers really are not built to play in cold weather. Passing rythem offense who recently abandons the run at the first chance.

Well our team is built for the cold, but we just moved indoors.

A healthy Jordy Nelson could make all the difference in the world for the Pack, it puts Cobb back into a more effective role, and allows for someone to flourish as their 2nd or 3rd WR.

Combine that with Lacey being in great shape, and a focused Rodgers that us once again getting tired of all the Favre talk, and the Pack are SB contenders. They finish 10-5 and win a playoff game in a really off year where their big #1 WR is hurt and #1 RB was in poor shape.

The sky is the limit if the Packers are healthy.

Some might be overestimating the Vikes because they played Seattle close in the playoff game. It may have just been the extremely cold weather that slowed Seattle down, let's not forget they dominated the Vikings in the meeting before that. Had the playoff game had mild weather, it's possible Seattle would have again dominated.

Also, I don't know why people think it's so impossible for another WR to emerge for the Pack. It is mostly the QB that makes things go.

Favre was having the Pack win the division with WRs like Javon Walker, Billy Schroeder and others. Rodgers will probably make a star out of Janis, Adams, or maybe even someone we really haven't heard anything about. I wouldn't be surprised if they added James Jones again midseason, he has good chemistry with Rodgers, and could be pretty effective for them as a 3rd or 4th WR. Greg Jennings could also perform a similar role.

I am more worried about how we match up against the Packers and we match up very well.. Don't care about anything else about the Packers---umm move the Packer talk to its appropriate thread if needed...lol

IF the Packers win that first game, I think it will be a psychological blow which the Vikings won't recover.

I like to know what makes people tick. I'm always trying to figure out why people do things they do - like maybe I missed my calling and should of been a psychologist or something.

I often wonder what motivates you to try to get people to react about certain things like you do.

At least with Brad, this time, we got a great nickname for AT.

The Packers are toast. Vikings abused Aaron and turned him into Erin. Jordy ain't coming back to anything close to what he was. I really don't consider them competition.

Seattle crushed us during the regular season when we were missing Joseph, Barr and Harrison Smith. So might as well say we were missing our Defense. The first half of the game last night IMO was a good indicator or how our next meeting with them would go only we would beat them worse because Teddy, AD, Kendricks would all be playing.

First of all IF that happened we could recover just like we did last year. Second why talk about IF's on things that are extremely unlikely to happen.

Same could be said of the Packers if crushed by Vikings.....Don't care about the Packers.

Sure seems like it. We lose game #2 and we won't recover? WTF is that?

Years. Honestly, not even sure why you guys humor him with responses. Wash, rinse, repeat.

PREDICTION:

Walsh and Locke will both be cut. Once the league wide final cuts are made, there will be better candidates on the market than Locke. There just has to be. And if even a marginal place kicker becomes available, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Walsh cut too. He can't be trusted.

It's so mental with kickers. A fresh start would be good for Walsh. As long as he's kicking for us, he will always have extra pressure on his shoulders because of that miss. He will always be pressing. He's done here. Even if he makes the final cuts, he won't last past midseason.

Wont happen. Walsh just signed a new contract. Nobody on the street is better than him.

Locke hasn't been terrible in the preseason.

Again, when your kickers are perceived to be your biggest problem(s), you're doing pretty good. Just saying.

Respect your opinion. But I don't see it. You have to be able to trust your kicker. Nothing drains a team mentally than a kicker you can't trust. Every kick is an adventure. He has no finesse on the short ones. He drills every one and he don't know where it's going. I'm going to be proven right on him. The situation just reeks of disaster.

And Locke has to be the worst punter in the NFL at pinning them inside the 20. They all go out the back of the endzone.

And the kicking game isn't their biggest problem. The offensive line is still really bad. Can someone tell me what happened to Mike Harris? Last I heard they were still mum on it.
