Now for the NFC...

Before reading to the end, can anyone guess who I am picking for the NFC in the Superbowl?

NFC West - couple of beasts and a couple of leasts
Cardinals are the best team in the NFC. Solid across the board. and should be a force to reckon with.

Seahawks are right there with them, but losing beastmode will slow them down but their D should be amazing again.

49ers on their third coach in three years Blaine Gabbart at QB and a defense that lost most of its good players in the past two years...going nowhere.

Rams are coached by Fisher. They're gonna suck.

NFC South Faller risers and afterthought
Carolina Panthers are going to take a big step back this year. Newton will still be Cam and they'll win some games but Keuchly will get hurt again and with their DB situation wont be able to stop people from scoring.

Buccaneers - winston is good, team is on the rise, but new coach, new system, I'm not sold this is their year...but they will make some noise imho.

Falcons - Should be an up year for them, Julio Jones is amazing, Ryan will return to form and the defense will stop a few teams but not many.

Saints - Without Brees they compete for the first overall draft pick. With Brees they may compete for the first overall draft pick (which they will need to replace Brees cause he is going to cost too damn much to keep after this year).

NFC East - See AFC South
Redskins - won the division last year. but that doesn't mean they are good, the division was awful. They may win it again because there are no good teams here.

Eagles - Just threw in the towel when they traded Bradford to the Vikings

Giants - does anyone really think McAdoo is going to be any good as a Head Coach

Cowboys - No defense, can't keep Romo healthy, starting a rookie with Sanchez backing him up. Eliot and Bryant should be lone bright spots but there is no good team here so they could win the division.

NFC North - LOOKOUT FOR A FUN RIDE.
VIKINGS! Bradford trade may have saved their season. This defense will be very good. WR corps and Oline look improved. AD will be AD again. Please someone question whether he can still do it...It will motivate him further. Zim's got them on a collision course with destiny!

Packers - Rodgers is due to miss a big chuck of time. Packers have had exactly four QBs play in a game for them since 1992. The magic will be ending soon. With Rodgers they still have a porous D. They will compete for the division and make a wildcard though (as long as Rodgers remains upright).

Chicago - If their D improved they could sneak up on people. John Fox is a good coach, they have probably the best interior Oline in the NFL so getting to Cutler might be problematic and that could be dangerous for oppsing defenses.

Detroilet - Stafford will either appear awfully pedestrian with Megatron or he steps up and the Lions compete because of it....I am predicting pedestrian... I mean come on, it's detoilet.

NFC DIVISON WINNERS
Vikings, Cowboys, Panthers, Cardinals
Wildcard Bucs and Seahawks

Cowboys beat Bucks
Seahawks beat Panthers

Vikings get revenge on Seahawks
Carninals destory Cowboys

Vikings eck out a win vs Cardinals

PURPLE SHADE TIME!!!!

Vikings defeat Patriots for Superbowl 51 glory

I'll say the Vikings squeeze out the win, 23-20.

It only took a couple hours but I am already wrong on one prediction.

the one about Drew Brees. Golly I'm good at this!

That five year deal was in reality just a one year extension.

for the record.

NFC North

Minnesota 1

NFC West

Seattle 2

NFC East

NY Giants 4

NFC South

Tampa Bay 3

Wild Cards: Green Bay 5 and Detroit 6

I think Carson Palmer goes down sometime this year. Paper champions. I was not impressed with them at the end of year. Carolina had a magical year, I see the Cam SB meltdown continuing this season. TB led by the Rapist will win that division. NY G take the weak assed East. Detroit played really well second half of last year. Packers have Jordy back, while great I question their defense and oline.

The Vikes will trail almost the entire game, but will find a way to pull out a win in the 4th quarter. Lose this game, and they will start out 0-3.

I think Bradford will lead the Vikes to the playoffs, but will get knocked out of the game in his first playoff start.

If the time table is 3 months for AD getting back, I think he will be back in 2 months seeing the team being effective and winning without him, or if it looks like he is the one element that is sorely needed.

While I think the Vikes run game will do ok without him some weeks, I suspect there will be weeks where they get little, and Bradford or HI'll and the defense will have to carry the load. I think he will be missed the most late in the season, when RBs seem to have more relevance.

If there is anything to my crazy theory about injuries, it would seem that AD was feeling underappreciated after signing his big contract, then allowed himself to get injured, becoming a super hero in his quick comeback and strong performance afterwards.

After he got a suspension he realized how much he liked family time and time to himself. So he he allowed himself to get hurt this season so Bradford wouldn't get all the credit if the offense exploded and they won the SB this year. He wanted fans to see it's not quite the same offense without him this year.

He may have miscalculated how good the defense and Sam's arm can be, but maybe not, we'll see. If some of the players are calling him selfish, maybe it's because he's gained that reputation a little bit, and even if he's doing the right thing for his body, they incorrectly call him selfish because that is the opinion they had of him before he made the sugery decision.

AFC 1/4 pole review

The Patriots are much better than I thought. I easily see 13 wins for them and possibly 14
Jets - didn't see the huge fall off in Revis nor Fitzpatrick playing like it is 4th quarter of week 17 all year!
Bills and Fish are about what I thought

Ravens are a little better and Bengals are a little worse. Otherwise AFC North is holding to form

Colts really look bad, besides Luck who is up and down. Surprised.
I thought the Jags would come up this year but perhaps Gus is best as a DC and not a HC
Titans suck, obvious call
Shocked at the Texans with 3 wins

Raiders about where I thought they would be but didn't see the Broncos balling this well with novice QBs
Chefs and Chargers look on point
