Completely utterly baffled i'm tellin ya.

I watched last nights game and saw your boy Marchand at his lowest.
From this day forward he will always be known as "the Licker!" to me.

Unreal. I read this yesterday, and I thought it was a sick joke. Add this behavior to the stack of reasons why I can't stand the guy. Has the league ever before has to warn a player to stop licking the opposing players? That's preschool crap!

Tampa in the finals. So long Bruins

Hoping I was dead wrong on Scott's prediction and the Caps finally overcome the Pens. Would be a fun series.

Looks like a few days worth of posts were lost.....
Jets vs Vegas in the Western finals. Will be interesting to see which of them can keep their roll going.

I kind of like the Jets in this series. How long can Fleury keep stopping 30+ shots a game without wearing down? The Jets shoot the puck a lot and they play a tough game. It's going to be a fun series.

I think it is Jets in 5 or 6.

Jets vs Knights

The west hierarchy has really changed.
Two very fast teams.
I hate the jets, but man, they simply dominated the Preds for long stretches.
I hate to admit it but they're simply damn good. And I've been harping about Vegas all year. I should like them but don't.
but they certainly play like I'd like to see our team play.

Vegas in 7

Ning vs Caps

Like both these teams. they've been my east favorites every year, after we get beat out.
Hoping the Caps are NOT satisfied after dumping their 500 pound gorilla.
Tampa is elite. Skill everywhere, Don't always show it, but they have it.
Should be fun, physical, and really rewarding for one of them.

Lightning in 7

Pens at Caps
Here we go again.
The classic, one team dominating another for so long.
It ends this time? Or it goes on?
I've actually always liked the Caps, but man, they make it hard ....
Capitals in 7

Bruins at Lightning
No secret who I hate here.
Boston thinks the world owes them everything.
Tampa is better than them and I hope they show it. No mercy please
Ning in 6

Sharks at Knights
Could be a great one.
Vegas' speed and the Sharks wisdom and grit and dirt.
Would love to see this old group of Sharks finally get over the himp, but the league wants this Vegas team to do well.
Vegas in 6

Jets at Preds
Thought this would be a great one, but not sure the Jets are good enough.
I've learned to not like the Jets, quickly. But I really really don't like the Preds at this point.
Will be painful to see either one have success. Hoping for a tie, with both unable to continue.
Preds in 5

not so bad  ....
The Jets definitely exposed some Preds weaknesses I really didn't think existed.
There was no "upset" to that series, it was a straight man-fight most nights.

Won't care a bit about the West. Will watch if I'm bored and nothing better on. Love the East! My predictions though are that the Jets are simply too big and Canadian. They will win in 6.

The East will simply come down to the hot goalie. Seems simple but that one could be a damn shoot out Going Lightning because, like you, i'm afraid the Caps are too much on cloud 9 after beating Cindy (ala the Vikes latest massive failure).

So far it's the exact opposite. Caps are grinding and the Bolts seem to be happy they are there.

I watched last night off and on and was impressed with the Caps. They seemed to be really moving their feet and were all over the puck. Last score I saw was 4-0 Caps, so I'm guessing there was a little bit of let-up at the end there.

No doubt about it, they will. The powers that be in Toronto want nothing more than to bring the cup to Canada where they feel it belongs....

Mark my words.
Buffalobutt WILL paralyze someone soon if they keep allowing his bullshit shoves from behind
He has everyone convinced it’s some kind of toughness
It’s not. It’s dangerous and it’s illegal and it’s going to cost someone their livelihood if it keeps being ignored.
It’s disrespectful. To the game and opponents

It's a weird thing though man, and you know it. He's clearly 'loved' by the NHL. He's good for the game because he has skillz, plays for a Canadian team, and is "not white". It's their 1 of, about 10, diversity cards. It's a shitty fact of hockey. It's way too white. There's diversity in countries but not color. I wish it wasn't that way but it is.

What really needs to happen is someone needs to "Bertuzzi" his ass after one of those incidents. It would be career suicide for the poor sucker that does it but it would end his ways. I wish there were another way but sadly there isn't.....at this point.

And, on another topic. WTF is Oshie no in Green and White? That was the absolute perfect signing for this team at the time and CF didn't even try (from what little I know). Pisses me off watching that guy play. PERFECT FIT....

Man, never thought I'd say it so fast but the Lightning maybe dead. They have been torn apart by OV8's and his mates.

I seem to remember begging for Oshie.
A bunch of us.
But what do we know
He's an incredible player. Sue ties or not.
Smart and savvy and tough as hell

His smack down at the end of the game last week was one of my favorite moments of the year

This is the Caps team I've expected many many many times come playoffs
First time they've gotten it right
Hmmmmmm
Think of any other team that's been pretty good but underachieved in the playoffs?
Hope for us?
Dreaming?
