Aren't they pretty much all Canadians that are too old for juniors any more? Looked like a bunch of goons when we played them last year from what I recall.

Status: offline 		Penn State as usual, played like their hair was on fire last night against us. We hung in with them and LaFontaine had one hell of a night facing over 50 shots to gain a point in a 3 on 3 lose. At least we didn't get blown out again like we have done recently against them. Noticed we even moved up in the pairwise after last night, not that it will matter much at this point. Would love to see them get a win today to get a step closer to the B10 title.

Status: offline 		Well it appears the Gophers need to sweep Michigan next weekend to get at least a share of the B10 title. They will also most likely need to win the B10 tourney to gain entry to the NCAA tourney. If they have a good run in them, next weekend is the time to start.

It was weird tho … seemed to dominate at times, just no finish
Motzko unhappy with the effort, that shouldn't happen this time of year.

Status: offline 		I caught parts of each game this weekend and wasn't impressed with the effort either.
There were stretches of domination in their zone, but couldn't get any past their goalie. Friday night they had over 50 shots and lost in the SO, and the Saturday it appeared they were trying to snipe the corners and missed the net more times than not. After a few weeks of great effort and play they have fallen back and not played well in the last two weeks. They will need to pick it up again if they are to make any noise at all in the B10 tourney and advance any further. I'd like to see them make the NCAA tourney just for the experience for the future, but at this point, I don't see that as very likely.

Yup, we reverted back to the "one-man show" efforts instead of shooting and crashing the net for rebounds.
Ranta really has regressed with his keep the puck till I lose it mentality.....
It's like they forgot the earlier success they had was as a team, not as individuals.

Status: offline 		Another stinker of a performance yesterday....looks like the boys have had enough fun playing hockey this season.
May as well write them off right now. I watched a little here and there online while watching the state tourney and we got beat to every loose puck and showed no desire at all.
Motzko really needs to recruit some kids with heart.....I see very little of that with this group.
