Turner is making a mockery of the game
He's like a video game player
And its usually vs a great pitcher
The guy is ON FIRE

For all the talk of long games this postseason, Game 1 was the shortest World Series game since 1992 at 2:28. It was also 32 minutes shorter than any other game this postseason

Vin Scully throwing out 1st pitch....awesome commentary too. Haha!

Edit: OK, he didn't actually throw it. But it was fun.

Springer's head disappeared behind a fake MasterCard ad. How cheesy can ya get, MLB and Fox?

Feeling comfortable after the Altuve/Correa back-to-back homers in the 10th!

How are the ratings for this series? Judging by this board, it looks like about a 0.001.

One last post from me. Springer comes thru HUGE! Big props to Verlander as well for coming out of the clubhouse for a much needed pep talk. Now can we hold the lead this time?? Thankfully Giles is done.

Nah.. Dave Roberts screwed up the bullpen when he put in that punk ass Ross Stripling, who has S U C K E D since August. He almost ****ed up the Cubs Game 2 and didn't have it here, causing Roberts to use Morrow an inning too early, which then resulted in Jansen having to work for six outs.

He should have left in Maeda or gone to Cuingrani in the 7th. Roberts over thought that one and it cost them the game. He'll learn.

Seems like a case of the over- application of analytics costing them. I thought both Hill and Maeda came out too soon; I get sticking to theory, but another inning or two of Hill and/or Maeda Greta them home. This was like teams passing up easy twos for threes because of analytics...... making sports a little less fun.

The theory of bringing in Madea because Houston had 5 straight RH batters.

So that didn't matter the first time around; Was Hill's "little" jams making Roberts nervous?
Apparently so.
Agreed, over-managing.

Sometimes analytics fail. Over Managing seems to always be a bad idea in playoffs.

Gotta give props to Houston for staying in there until their offense came around.

Still can't believe how amazingly good Altuve is.
