Here's a really good video on possible conspiracy:

Everyone should watch this and at least consider it. Money talks....

Pretty damn interesting.
I don't see anything that surprises me.
Some people simply watch and don't let the little things bother them.
I see momentum swings and attitude adjustments that change games constantly.
The WAY the games we watch are reffed .... determines how those games turn out, imo.
I think most agree that infractions CAN be called on almost every play.
Sometimes they call the hold, sometimes they do not. WHY ... is the question we can never really answer.

After watching that the only thing I can say is, that is business as usual for the NFL.
A friend of my dad's that was huge gambler and had a few different bookies used to always tell me that the NFL was all about money and was fixed by the owners and Vegas.
I don't know about the Vegas part, but I am not at all surprised when games appear to be fixed, or as Marty says, swayed. The sad thing about it is, we as fans have come to expect it rather than be bothered by it.

When we act 'bothered' we are beaten into submission by those that say suck it up...refs don't lose football games.

As I said in my response to this in another thread...guy made some points...but a lot of teams could put together similar videos...

Nobody's saying we shouldn't focus on the game on the field. Just saying there are other opinions out there.

I now lean a little bit towards the refs favoring a team that they just personally like more, and it starts with the HC.

The 49ers also got shafted pretty bad in the SB against the Ravens, especially with some pretty obvious no calls. I think John Harbaugh had a talented team, but he was not well liked by the officials, and maybe some players on his team were also disliked by officials (including Moss).

Any team can have calls against them any Sunday, and they might have games be reffed against teams they like just to keep it random, and 'sways' undetectable. But I think if a pattern starts to emerge where it seems like your HC might be disliked by the officials, it's probably time to get another HC. Your probably not going to win a SB if it appears that refs don't like your HC.

The Patriots lost again, today. If they lose in the playoffs, then even if I am tortured to death, I will remind myself that the Patriots lost and I can die a happy man.

They give control over personnel to some lawyer chump. Then want to hire a coach...then a GM.

Good luck turning this around Cleveland!

Joe Thomas is so gonna want out of there...

Johnny Manziel pulling a no-show to treatment before the Cleveland Browns' game on Sunday might be what prompts the Browns to move on from him.

Derek Carr is a riddle to me

His stats are outstanding for a 2nd year QB

32 TDs
13 INTs
91 QB rating
almost 4,000 yards passing

BUt every Raiders game I watched he made boneheaded plays that lost them the game

Chip Kelly's camp has reached out to the San Francisco 49ers to express interest in their head-coach opening, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday. The 49ers are likely to at least consider the former Philadelphia Eagles coach, a source said.

Kelly was fired by the Eagles on Dec. 29 with one game remaining in the season and Philadelphia sporting a 6-9 record. Kelly, who sources indicate would like to remain in the NFL, was 26-21 in three seasons with the Eagles.

Favre made boneheaded plays his whole career but won more often than not on the way to a HOF career.

Carr is a guy that takes chances. Most of the time it works out...sometimes it doesn't and that's when he looks boneheaded.

Carr also grew up being a big fan of Favre. In fact that's why he wears #4

Funny clip: Kicker misses XP. Slams helmet into turf. Helmet rebounds into face.

Pagano agrees to extension with Colts
quote:

After potentially being on the hot seat, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano will be back next year after agreeing to an extension. With QB Andrew Luck injured most of the season, the Colts went 8-8.

They let the wrong coach go.

Arians would have had them in the Super Bowl by now

For those who can't see the Johnny Manziel news via our website, here is what we posted:
Johnny Manziel update:
We all know Vegas stories can get extremely crazy involving celebrities. This is going to sound wild, and maybe hard to believe, but this is what we’re hearing regarding Johnny Manziel.
Our sources tell us Manziel was at a popular night club on the strip Saturday night. The QB entered wearing a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses, and a hoodie.
Manziel introduced himself as “Billy.” He was there into the 3am hour and when it came time to pay the bill, he asked to have it comped because he didn’t bring cash and also didn’t want to put it on his card.
However, the sources tell us he ended up paying with his card and signing the check.
By 3am he appeared to be enjoying the party scene that Vegas is known to offer.

Two days after hiring a non-football person to run their football operation, the Browns have hired another executive who’s never worked in the NFL.

Paul DePodesta — he was the model for the Johah Hill character in the movie Moneyball — has been hired as chief strategy officer. Per Joel Sherman of the New York Post, DePodesta will fit in the organizational structure behind only team owner Jimmy Haslam and team president Alec Scheiner.

Man I can't wait to see who they hire as HC!
