Saw this on facebook today (sorry if it isn't the appropriate thread):

Milwaukee, WI. (AP) - A fifteen-year old boy was at the center of a Milwaukee County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Green Bay Packers, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

bailey has missed 18 field goals in training camp...over the last four years bailey has missed only 19 fg's on 112 attempts....

he has missed fours years worth of fg's in one training camp with zero pressure...i would guess that he's having the worst training camp of any kicker in the league....

if we lose to atlanta by three points and bailey misses two fieldgoals zimmer is going to look like a big idiot....

hopefully vedvik aces everything he does in pre season and makes the decision even more obvious than it is right now....

If we go with Vedvik to start the season and lose to atlanta by three points and vedvik misses two fieldgoals zimmer is going to look like a big idiot....

vedvik is having a solid summer - bailey is not....

let's see how it plays out over the next couple of weeks...i'm not sold on anyone yet....

Do you think there is a Viking fan out there that is?

zimmer was chewing tabacco out of a sunflower seeds bag....

Paid man gets bored@cjzero
Zim hiding the dip in the seeds bag?

Arif Hasan@ArifHasanNFL
I failed to ask him about the sunflower seeds.

treadwell looked tradeable last night....

Ben Goessling@GoesslingStrib
Mike Zimmer said the Vikings were trying to get Laquon Treadwell the ball a little more often tonight. “We’re trying to showcase him a little bit, I guess,” Zimmer said.

Arif Hasan@ArifHasanNFL
Zimmer at the podium mentioned that they were trying to get Treadwell the ball in the second half, and said they were trying to "showcase" him a little bit, which is at the very least a very easy word to read into.

Some players who stood out during #Vikings-Seahawks: Jayron Kearse, Ifeadi Odenigbo, Kyle Sloter, Khari Blasingame, Irv Smith Jr., Dakota Dozier, Brandon Zylstra and Eric Kendricks. A full film review will be up on VC! (Daniel House on Twitter)

Jayron Kearse is looking like he could have a breakout season #Vikings (Sean Borman on Twitter)

I wrote about it in my training camp notebooks, but Jayron Kearse looks really comfortable in the system. He's been very physical against the run and is making plays in coverage, too. I think we'll see more three-safety nickel packages with him. #Vikings (Daniel House on Twtter)

You would think after 3 years the coaching staff would say "Hey...you've dominated the 3rd stringers Mr. Sloter, lets see what you can do against the 2s." (Purple Post on Twitter)

I think we all would agree.

Aviante Collins was seen running on the practice field. Hopefully we'll see him return to action soon. (before the preseason is over)

#Vikings OC Stefanski conveyed that a balanced offense to him isn’t the number of plays but more so keeping the defense off-balanced by running pass or run plays in the same formations, motions, shifts and looks. I can’t share it all but week 1 I can’t wait for him to unveil it.

(Ron Johnson on Twitter)

I really like this. We are going to keep opposing defenses more honest, and when they line up wrong we can make them pay.

Heard a rumor that Veteran OL Jeremiah Sirles is back in town meeting with the Vikings. He's a Free Agent. He was a decent depth guy when he was here. Could provide depth at G & T. (Vikings Spin on Twitter)

I didn't see the game. It appears Fox and Direct TV are doing battle.

Sloter stood out again? Imagine that ...

I thought Mannion looked decent. The pick six looked like he could have waited another split second but it looked more like it was on Beebe for not looking for the ball. He just stopped on the crossing route then turned to look for the ball but it was already passed him.

Otherwise Mannion was pretty accurate with good velocity. Didn't see the second half.

Cousins looked ok but on 3rd goal from the 10 he needs to throw the ball in the EZ.

Like Ricky, I too missed the game I also had a DVR malfunction thus no recording of the game. Bruce, what does the "full film review will be up on VC! (Daniel House on Twitter)" mean? Is VC Vikings.com? Anyone know where I might view full game film?

I did find this at dailynorseman.

Fox Sports Go App or NFL Network (they usually replay all the preseason games).... According to the Schedule 1PM Wednesday on NFL Network is the Vikes Replay.

Kirk Cousins noted his disappointment in not hitting an early screen to Alexander Mattison that might have broken off a huge play. It's an area Minnesota has spent a ton of time practicing in camp and is something you can expect to see a lot of in this offense.

Minnesota gained 299 yards on screen passes in 2018, with only 118 of those yards gained by running back screens. So while the Vikings were at the bottom in that category, they actually were one of the best at executing WR screens (179 of those 299 yards) in the NFL.

(Courtney Cronin on Twitter)

I feel like Zylstra really needed a performance like he’s had so far tonight. Felt like he was buried down that WR depth chart, and he may have worked his way back into the conversation for making the roster. #Vikings Myles Gorham on Twitter

Beebe looked like he was just running to his spot stopped and then turned. When a qb is under duress you need to be looking for the ball on a crossing route in case the blitz gets home.

I'm sure the coaches will point this out in the film room. Good learning moment.

Reminded me of the Cousins=Diggs pick six last season.

Really happy about his resurgence.
Kid is pretty solid.
Probably hurt by Thielens success.
No one would believe we'd catch lightning in a bottle, twice.
Lots of raw ability in him. And just like Thielen, will be underrated until he's allowed to prove it.
Fun to see these smaller school kids get the chance to shine.

I am cheering for Hercules too---causes all kinds of havoc in the middle at all times....

I think Zylstra will get one of the last 2-3 spots....

Noticed Hercules as well. We definitely need a guy who can put some pressure on the qb up the middle being Joseph and Stephens don't add much in this area.

Zystra had a really nice grab on a bullet from Mannion.
