Not worried about the extra TE or CB. Brandon Dillom is in David Morgan's spot. So, there is that.

Epps/Boyd are insurance for Hughes. When hes back, one of them is gone.

I know we aren't going into the season with 4 WRs, so I expect a 5th one added today.

Thought Blasingame did enough. I guess Abdullah is the KR, for now.

If they are expecting David Morgan back anytime soon, doesn't seem like we need 4 TEs until then, should have just kept Blasingame. I also would have kept Sloter in lieu of one of the DTs Jalxxx. 6 DTs to man 2 positions? And DTs are not typically your prime ST contributors.

They’re not. Morgan is on the PUP. He’s out through at least game 6, possibly longer.

If he clears waivers, tackle Aviante Collins could end up on the #Vikings practice squad. It's important to note that he wasn't released with an injury designation so a practice squad berth could happen right away if Vikings so desire. His left knee injury is healing well.

First: Vet WR for us.
Second: What happens to Sloter (curiosity) and Blasingame (holding my breath).
Third: Anything else

Top waiver slots for hundreds of players today:

1. Cardinals
2. 49ers
3. Jets
4. Raiders
5. Buccaneers
6. Giants
7. Jaguars
8. Lions
9. Bills
10. Broncos

Some around the league believe the Cardinals will claim between four and six players today alone.

Waiver Day is irrational good fun but how much can you really add?

Sad when you are still team building off the scaps and drippings of other teams (at this point).

Currently not crazy about Abdullah over Blasingame, but not apoplectic either.

I'm depressed about it. I might be suicidal if he gets plucked by another team. Kidding only a bit.

Don't let the fact that a team NOT in rebuilding mode seen 10/12 rookies make the team, and kept 1 UDFA. Feels like that has to be unprecedented. Is that being celebrated here? No. Just hand wringing over the one or two fringe guys that got away.

Very interesting point.

Amazing that 6 out of 7 of this year's 6th/7th round picks made the 53. Incredible success for those rounds.

Those scraps are also affordable players, which is helpful when teams are trying to manage their cap.

Absolutely agree with this.

Jaleel hasn’t lived up to expectations and Sloter is way more valuable insurance.
Blasingame has all kinds of upside.

I also would’ve kept Zylstra over Beebe, or kept both and dumped Abdullah.

It was hilarious reading the asinine assumptions posted here implying that posters know more than NFL coaching staffs who get to see these players every day. Gruden passed on the great Kyle Sloter and claimed DeShon Kizer .

Too funny.

Worth keeping an eye on this as the dust settles from roster cuts yesterday. Matt Wile seems a long ways from settled on the Vikings' roster.

Andrew Krammer@Andrew_Krammer
Wouldn't be shocked to see #Vikings make a move for a new punter/holder after two veterans, Britton Colquitt and Bryan Anger, and Matt Darr (who played for Marwan Maalouf in Miami) became available.

Well there has to be something we novice, over emotional fans don’t know?

Really so we sign Browning back to our PS, Sloter tears through everybody’s backups for 3 straight preseasons, and he’s not good enough for anyone’s team?
