ORIGINAL: Pager And the other side of an unhappy RB After missing practices the last few days, the #Saints are open to trading RB Alvin Kamara, according to @JosinaAnderson. Oh boy.... Hmmm.. That's a bit surprising. He's a pretty dynamic rb. 81 catches 3 years straight He's holding out and wants a massive contract. 15ml I read I think the Saints are in bad shape cap wise already. But Kamara is similar to CMC and is a good route runner. Kamara is great. He's out performed both guys drafted ahead of him. Cook: 3 years, 29 games, 457/2104/17, 4.6 Y/A. 104/914/2, 8.8 Y/R Mixon: 3 years, 44 games, 693/2931/17, 4.2 Y/A. 108/870/4, 8.1 Y/R Kamara: 3 years, 45 games, 485/2408/27, 5.0 Y/A. 243/2068/10, 8.5 Y/R To get a better picture, total yards: Cook: 561 Touches, 3018 yards, 5.4 Y/Tch, 19 TDs. Mixon: 801 Touches, 3801 yards, 4.7 Y/Tch, 21 TDs. Kamara: 728 Touches, 4476 yards, 6.4 Y/Tch, 37 TDs. Is it possible that being a part of the Saints all world offense might help him a little. I know it goes the other way also, but most RBs would do better in New Orleans than just about anywhere else. I don't think he's a better back than Cook. Kamara is a better back than Cook. Just my opinion. Both are very good. Agreed. From a pure talent standpoint, I'd rate them Kamara, Cook, Mixon. But you also have to figure in durability. Cook has played almost a full season less than the other two. And while he managed to only miss 2 games this year, once he got dinged, he was never the same. We disagree. Cook definitely the most talented. So far Durability is not on his side, but this year Kamara or Mixon could easily get injured and miss the whole season while Cook plays all 16. I've seen that kind of turnaround many time. Karl-Anthony Towns this last season for example.
