Even when he tries, he struggles. He's very slow, and despite being big for a PG, he's not at all strong.

Memphis hunted him in the Playoffs against us last year the exact same way.

But he was a disaster on offense last night as well. Couldn't even throw an entry pass to AD.

Saw Russell do an interesting thing on a LeBron dunk vs Memphis. A little timed jump when Lebron is dunking, I guess to help make an impactful photo. It is a pretty cool pic.

Is this a common thing?

Looks like I need to eat a little crow. Lakers looking like they could have a chance at a title.

They look as good as anyone to me. They have put together quite the roster of players that have their own special talents and work well with Davis and LeBron. Seem very deep to me.

They look good, I will be curious if they actually try and win tonight or just mail it in for a game 6 at home.

Lebron and AD, IMO, can't take nights off and just assume they will continue to win every home game. That's a very risk strategy.

Tonight is the type of game I think Jordan would go for the kill shot, I see Lebron and AD giving a 1st qtr effort and then mailing it in if things don't go perfect.

I never really liked Russell. Was glad when we traded him and he did shoot terrible the other night. I will say though he appears to play much faster and with more effort for the Lakers.

I think it's a fore gone conclusion they will win it barring a Bron/AD injurie. All they have to do is keep it close and the referees will do the heavy lifting.

I see Ja really has changed his ways.

Think he's looking at lengthy NBA suspension this time around.

Spurs win the Wembanyama sweepstakes.

7'5" with an 8 ft wingspan is riduculus. Kid could be in the circus.

He looks beyond frail. If he holds up and has a nice career I will be surprised.

NBA is such a grind.

The ex-Wolves are absolutely killing the Lakers.

Russell has been the worst player on the floor. Lakers are a staggering -53 when he’s in the game.

Vandy has been played off the floor just like in last year’s playoffs.

Beasley is totally out of the rotation.

The refs did their part calling multiple fantom fouls on Joker but Murray was just too good.

but but the Wolves were holding him back.

Read an article where Dlo stated that "whatever the Wolves would have paid me I would have outperformed that contract". Guy is dillusional.

It took too long, but I'm thrilled Russell is gone. Lakers will realize their mistake if they haven't already.

Murray remains one of my favorite non-Wolves in the game.

Denver makes a final defensive stand and sweeps the Lakers.
Not sure anyone expected a sweep.

Boston is in the same boat. Who'd thunk Denver and Miami?

Had to shut off ESPN radio this morning. All they do is talk about the Lakers. Yesterday was they can be the first team ever to come back from 0-3. Today is should they go get Kyrie....Blah, blah, blah.

How about talk about Jokic. Guy just broke Wilt's record for triple doubles.

The Lakers were extremely lucky to escape a depleted Wolves team in the play in game. Had Ant been right the Lakers would have been swept in the first rd by Denver. They're just not very good. LeBron is showing his age and they were extremely fortunate AD stayed on the floor.

Jokic is such a complete player. His passing, rebounding and scoring from inside and outside.
just a joy to watch. Murray I've liked since he entered the league. Appears healthy again and looked impossible to guard most of the series.

Does anybody really believe that LeBron will retire this year?
Not a chance.

He won't retire until he can play a season with his son.

Not sure if he is doing it for the right reasons. Don't know the scouting report on Bronny but sounds like he needs more seasoning at the college level.

If Bronny isn't really really good at USC but still goes in Draft and Lakers pick him just to satisfy Lebron that will be such a farce for the Lakers and NBA in general. Be like Pro Wrestling at that point.
