Really? I can look at pages 126-131 for you if needed.....
I posted links to get the site back on track from your Music Bullshit that was pissing everyone off. I love music but I PMd Scott about Moondance or put it in Idle Talk like it should be. Post anything you want about music in Idle Talk or somewhere else. You need not promise me anything; just post it in the right thread.

4 Vikings surprise players is spam? How about this one layup for you (who the Vikes should have picked over Laquon)?

I wouldn't have taken LaQuon. i forget who I would have taken. I looked back at the results and now I remember. I would have taken Hunter Henry. He's turned out OK. With 20/20 hindsight I think we should have drafted Michael Thomas.

Marty I will spell it out for you.

Media Mania/Country Music thread was created after the same attempt in the Twins Thread...there is history there. Take a peak and you will understand more. KG posted something there as recent as 6/21....but when there isn't any activity in the CM thread--- pages 126-131 in the Vikes Talk start happening coincidentally 6/22. Then KG pretends he doesn't know what he is intentionally doing, blames someone else for creating the mess, posting off topic, etc.....cycle, rinse, repeat.

As Easy Peasy to post in Media Mania/Country Music Thread as a Cousins to JJ completion. Pretty much proves that KG wasn't ganged up on; he knows.

PFF list of NFL’s best contracts features four Vikings
Not a surprise at all

By Christopher Gates Jun 27, 2021, 4:18pm CDT 69 Comments

We talk quite a bit around here about the outstanding job that Rob Brzezinski and the Minnesota Vikings do with how they handle contracts and the team’s salary cap. If they’re not the best in the league at what they do, they’re certainly near the top of the list, and a recent list from Pro Football Focus highlights that.

PFF put together their list of the 32 best contracts in the National Football League, and the Vikings lead the pack with four players on that list. If you count Stefon Diggs, there are five contracts on the list that were negotiated by the current Vikings’ front office.

The highest-ranked Viking on PFFs list is Danielle Hunter, he of the newly renegotiated deal. His contract comes in at #3 on the list.

Prior to missing the entire 2020 season with injury, Hunter had the most quarterback pressures among all edge rushers over the 2018-19 seasons with 154. Not only is this deal phenomenal value in hindsight, but at the time of signing, Hunter was just 23 years old coming off of 2016 and 2017 seasons in which he ranked top 20 in WAR among all edge rushers.

This contract was revised earlier in June, with the Vikings effectively converting it into a one-year deal with an ultimatum to extend or release after the 2021 season. Even so, when considering what Minnesota has been able to do the last several years in terms of spending, Hunter’s contract remains a top value league-wide.

Obviously, the Vikings did an outstanding job of getting Hunter back into the fold. The hope is that he’ll have a big season in 2021, one that would land him either a huge chunk of money or a new long-term deal with the team. He’s still just 26 years old, so he’s got a few more paydays coming. Hopefully they’ll be in Minnesota.

Harrison Smith is also in the top ten of the PFF list, checking in at #7. The Vikings are also represented on the list by defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (#27) and linebacker Eric Kendricks (#30).

The Vikings found themselves in a difficult cap situation coming into the 2021 offseason, but thanks to the magic of the Wizard of Brzez, they keep managing to keep their stars happy and add talent as well. You can’t ask for much more from a front office than that.

Of course you are allowed, however at the point this is getting it’s probably I’ll advised. And even more I’ll advised to ask if it’s ok.
How about keeping it to football for a few days? Just a suggestion for everyone here. These are things 13 yr olds do that feel they must validate themselves. So maybe it is best just not to even reply to a post non football related, yes in my opinion.

We still have a fair amount of money out there but it seems odd I hear few rumors now. I’d have to think Spielman has something he’s working on.

I'm Rick. Nice to meet you Dan. Go Vikings.

No kidding?

In April I was on Route 66. Before and during the trip I wanted to get off the path and see Sedona - one of those places I'd like to see. I even tried unsuccessfully to get an AIRBNB there. But I ran into some mechanical issues and spent the day in Flagstaff.

- The electronic sign entering Flagstaff said: Winds 20-30 mph. Gusts 50+ (in my face)

Oh, Go Vikes! Let this be a good one!!!

Flagstaff, Sedona, Grand Canyon are all beautiful. Am I allowed to say that on this site? I live just outside Flagstaff by the way.

You are correct in everything you said in this post. I was being snarky asking if I was allowed to post about it. It's just people are going off the rails trying to police the posts around here. I've always liked that we can go a bit off topic. Those conversations have been some of the best ever on this message board. Other times not so good. There's not much to talk about football related right now until training camp opens.

No one is going off of the rails...post music in its own thread....remember you and Matt posting country music history in the Twins thread until you were reminded.

We know you love talking music; quit hijacking threads to do it.

What I think is hilarious is that some posters talk about 13 year olds but don't know the difference between ill and I'll.

You are right, that is funny. I had to go back and look. Just something I've never felt the need to make a priority. Funny also knowing that my wife is a teacher! She gave in, knowing that I won't bother proof reading and she always knows what I meant anyway. A few years back, I finally got her to agree teaching cursive writing in school is pointless as well. Sorry if that's one of your irritants, unfortunately you are likely to see that often from me.

Anyway, It will be interesting to see if Rodgers does anything by Friday or not. I work with about 500 packer fans, so it will be fun to see their reaction if he doesn't play this season.

This appears that it will play out for the whole summer....amazing how squirmy the FO is now also.....this should have been resolved in season when he was kicking arse.

This is Packers Jeopardy.

yes Todd. Even Vikings stories and news can spam this board. When you just go and randomly put every story on the internet about the Vikings here it is Spam.

Phil you made 5 non Vikings related posts on Page 131 alone. Give it a break. We have always, always, always made off topic posts here. If we would just quit arguing about off topic posts that would eliminate half the off topic posts. I won't make another post about off topic posts.

I don't mind getting off topic a little from time to time...but I like the conversation to steer back to the Thread topic rather quickly. Which is why I try very hard not to engage in off topic debates. and once I feel it has been going too long that's when smarmy Trekgeek posts trying to steer the conversation back to the topic of the thread occur.

I hate having any Vikings on the list because the flip side is they're basically saying the Vikings are taking advantage of these players and the players were really stupid to accept the deal. How do you think it makes Hunter feel to see this article saying he was totally hoodwinked by the Vikings right after he signs it.

When your QB is rated #30 in the league in two-minute QB Rating, there is no reason for a long discussion.
