It would be worth exploring a trade for Wilson. He can make things happen, and ruin a defensive coordinator's gameplan.

I would be really excited if the Vikings got Wilson or Watson, somewhat excited if they got Lawrence.

Keeping Cousins has me feeling very little hope for a SB win.

Yes, Kurt isn't clutch, and his play makes his OL look like he is Mahomes with a concussion going against TBs defense often.

Cousins having 2 GREAT targets, shouldn't be compared to Mahomes who just has one. That is a testament to Mahomes' greaat play. Add Jefferson to the Chiefs, and it may have been a close game, keying on Hill may not have worked.

Stick Brady on the Vikings, and with accurate smart passes thrown quickly, that OL would have suddenly looked decent.

If KC just had a great TE or something to go along with Hill, then maybe...

Doesn't even slow him down as he goes continues on his thread of consciousness...

Go get Watson or Lawrence

Yes, it's as though he wants the Vikings to win a Super Bowl. What a weirdo.

We just gave a Reiff a 1M bonus that we didn't need to give him. It seems that he will be on team in 2021.

He deserved it. He played at a high level, but missed the last meaningless game due to Covid protocols. It's good will offered to him in an effort to negotiate good terms for the team this upcoming season. I for one am shocked how well he played this year- his best year ever.

Wilson is just blowing smoke. Seattle has treated him way too good for him to pull a Watson.

He just wants them to shore up the oline. Sounds ;ike they have a Spielman type GM.

Cam Dantzler credited Anthony Harris and Harrison Smith with his second half turnaround, mentioning their experience helping him when watching film.

Also talked about how the game slowed down for him after his injury (looked like he was more patient post injury imo)

Get JJ Watt now. Watson, Watt, and a bevy of high draft picks coming our way will be a great pre-offseason.

I know you're joking but before someone starts to try to defend that. That dude is done (Watt).

We can rotate Hunter and JJ to keep them 'fresh'. We'll have to spend some of our plethora of picks on the right DE position. But hell yeah, it's a great plan!

Of course, Cousins will be less 'fresh' when the season starts but that's one dude who knows how to 'tidy up' before a game. I have half-suspected he'd be open to polygamy and several other 'fringe' religious beliefs ... wait ... you are talking about Emma Watson, right?

He still gets double teamed a lot doesn't he?

Injury would be my concern with him, misses a lot of games.

If he wants a chance at a Ring, he isn't going to pick the Vikings anyway.

I haven't found a more perfect Kirk Cousins stat until today. #32 Protection rate & #2 clean pocket completion percentage. But he's the issue though.

PFF has him at #27 in clean pocket rate and #5 in clean pocket completion percentage. Not too much different but I'm still curious what source Greenfield used.

It's fairly substantial. Greenfield probably pulled it out of thin air. Subjective either way.

Per PFF for the 2020 regular season,

Average time to throw, Cousins ranks 8th, at 2.67 seconds. Josh Allen is #1 at 2.85 seconds. Tom Brady is #26 at 2.39 seconds.

Average time in pocket, Cousins ranks 14th, at 2.76 seconds. Lamar Jackson is #1 at 3.17 seconds. Drew Brees and Tom Brady are #25 and #27 at 2.49 and 2.42 seconds.

Percentage of dropbacks with 2.5 seconds or more to throw, Cousins ranks 7th at 56.2%. Josh Allen is #1 at 61.8%. The bottom 8 of this category are Stafford, Tannehill, Brees, Brady, Burrow, Rivers, Dalton, and Rapeyburger.

But Kirk's the issue right? Yep. Yep he is.

You think Kirk is more of an issue than the o-line? He is what he is, but if he's your QB, and he is and likely will be, you have to have at least an average o-line.

Based on the stats presented, you do. It doesn't help that he has the mobility of a statue, but other QBs overcome that deficiency.

I remember playing Houston, and I believe JJ Watt played but was damn near invisible against out rather leaky OLine.

I believe he’s been injured the previous times we’ve played them?

No thanks

Honestly I respect the Wilfs for not letting COVID-19 screw over Reiff’s bonus.

Your boy “Tall Cotton” McCombs prolly tells him to pound sand. 😉
