I still can't believe we won that game. My son and I are still laughing about the result.

KJ 12 rec 157 yds
JJ 10 rec 123 yds

KJ was a beast and really fueled the beginning of that come back

Cook 17 rush 95 yds + 4 rec 95 yds

First well executed screen pass all season

Cooks fumble had me cussing him out early though

Holly crap, Cousins over 400 yd 2nd half. That screen was helpful for sure, but still

Poor Sullivan could have had 1-2 TDs if not for the idiotic refs.

I don't like to blame the refs but they seemed poor today. I don't think they were "out to get us" or anything. Just incompetent.

I slept through most of the game.. no feed, nfl network on a satellite I don’t have and because my rental property has been off market for 4 months, I didn’t feel like spending money to go to a bar.. thank god.. I’d have left in frustration at halftime….

Didn’t see the first half at all..

Started reading game day thread ….

I missed a wild one…

Dude is tough and without a doubt he isn't a bad QB. He's a good QB. He also seems to not be aware or not give a darn whether it's first down, third down, or fourth down. He also seems unaware that it's fourth-quarter-down-two-scores or first-quarter-tied-zero-zero. Toss one up there on fourth down when we're in desperation mode? Heck no - I'll take a sack or run for one yard.

All this being said, this is the single greatest season in Vikings' history. 100% unpredictable and finding ways to miracle wins. I've never been so entertained watching the games in all my life - including the good Favre year.

Skol!

I don't know about that.

For my money, its neither the best team nor the best season. But we're not done yet.

One of the funnest, by far.

With three games to go and a spot in the playoffs ... its still in the conversation for greatest season ...

which seemed utterly impossible in the offseason ... and about 500-600 times during this season, including for two quarters yesterday.

Its already the craziest. We'll see how far this thing can go.

Craziest for sure.

This team has done things Vikings teams just don't do.

We were -2 yesterday, gave up 7 sacks, had 2 TD's taken off the board and still orchestrated the greatest comeback in NFL history.

Greatest season...if we don't figure in post season play...

Probably pretty subjective. 98 was a joy ride with pretty smooth sailing. 2009 A little less so. This season is a thrill ride with no seatbelt and a funny clinking sound that's impossible to ignore. But it's also had some low lows. Sometimes these things happened in the same game.

I will say it would be e a great year to rewatch our America's Game highlight video.

Yes, defies all odds.

I have been very critical of this team. Truthfully, I wish I could just enjoy the ride.

But ... I don't respect a lot of the teams we are beating, maybe most, which tempers my enthusiasm. The way we have lost feeds into that as well.

Outside of our playmakers, I still think we are just an average team overall, less so on defense.

But this team is also special in some ways ... I've never seen anything like it ... they play inarguably great when its on the line.

A narrow ledge isn't enough for this team, they have to be on a razor's edge to play their best. Exciting! Painful! Fun!

Greatest regular season has to be the 15-1 1998 season.

That team was a dominant scoring juggernaut. 3 different QB's started games that season.

I don't recall Fiedler ever starting that year. I know it was close one game. I just remember Brad and Cunningham. That was a fun year though.

Crazy stat: Cousins had 43 yards in the first half. He threw for 417 in the second half and overtime - a career high total .. Ben Goessling

Andrew Krammer:

Hicks on what changed defensively:

"We were running a lot of man. That wasn't necessarily what we'd done all year. He found what we were comfortable playing, stopping the run and trusting the guys."

- - can we hope?

I noticed more of what appeared to be man in the 2nd half. We definitely can't play an effective zone. That's been proven over and over.

Not greatest but whackiest season for sure, including two all-time type games.

Everything - games, quarters, halves - are microcosms in and of themselves, only to be followed by an entirely new microcosm.
