Verlander actually pitched better than I expected, guy has been remarkable.
Darvish gets his chance tonight.
Hmmmm, two late-in-the-game pick-ups are the two most important guys still playing.
Not always a bad idea to spend money, people!!!!!!
Sometimes one spendy acquisition is all your team might need to win it all.
Or, just sit back and say, "we weren't winning it all anyway".
Pretty good ballgame, really disappointed that Pederson had to ruin his big moment with more "all about me", but it was a big moment.
Taylor has impressed me a lot for LA. Him and Barnes.
Both staffs had seemed incredibly deep, both at this point seem to be running on fumes.
Dodgers got their stud to finish the game, they'll probably need it again tonight.
Should be a fun night, I bet we see EVERYONE. Kershaw, Kuechel, yep, all of em.

If I am an Astros fan, I don't want to see Giles on the mound

We tried that the past few years and it didn’t work.
We’re still a small market team.

Sounds like
McCullers for as long as he can, then Kuechel. Astros hoping to not have to use anyone else
Darvish as long as he can, then Kershaw, then Janssen to finish.

Per TK again, if Matt seems to need to know

I watched Liriano last night and felt he was getting squeezed on a few Strike 3 calls.

Was kinda cool to see him again.
He gave off the "you guys have no freaking idea how good I was once" vibe.
Or maybe that was just me.

Would like to see the Dodgers win.
But highly doubt the Astros bats stay cool much longer.
They've been extremely different home/away
But it now takes one game ...

my opinion, definite advantage, Dodgers.

Top of the fifth with 2nd and 3rd and no outs, Reddick has to put the bat on the ball with Verlander following. he has to.

Reddick has been a huge huge hole in this lineup in the playoffs.

And Beltran is done. Had a great career and some memorable playoff games but he is done.

Yup, Reddick has been a nightmare at the plate. How about starting Maybin tonight? Probably not. Too much of a pinch-running weapon.

How bout the dork last night with the glove and the bead on the home run ball ....
And he freezes while it floats over his glove and doinks his wife.
Lots of material here .....

Missed it by just that much.

Based on the dork's attempt, it made it more likely that Lasorda could still play.

Anyone remember Koufax shutting us out in ‘65s game 7?
Bastard will still probably throw the first pitch tonight on the black at 85
I was only 4
Glad I wasn’t that invested yet.

McCullers 4 HBP in 2 1/3 IP. Seemed like something was bothering him on his hand. Maybe a blister or hangnail?

Keep trying to hit five-run homers kids
Selfishness
Could easily be 5-3 or 5-4 at this point
They swing for it all and keep getting pissed
Pretty childish

Now the Twins can sign him for a bargain contract.

And a Giants fan should never root for the Dodgers.
