I know I'm biased, but I thought last night's game was entertaining. The Dodgers had a million chances, especially early and in the middle innings. How McCullers didn't give up any runs with all that base traffic was amazing. He sucked. The Dodgers hit several liners with men on base that looked like they were hits off the bat, but they were right at the Houston defenders. Bad luck? Mostly, I'd say so. Also good positioning by the Astros. Overall the Dodgers actually hit the ball better than the Astros did last night. When the Dodgers scored their 1 run, I figured the comeback was on. That it didn't materialize is a credit to Morton. The game felt in doubt until the 8th inning or so. And if Morton had started to lose it, I didn't feel comfortable with Keuchel or Verlander coming in. Remember when Scherzer came in for the Nats? What a disaster. I'd say last night's game is gonna go down as a clunker in most people's eyes. But in my eyes it will go down as underrated.
