In the last three drafts the Vikings/Rick have used two second round picks and one first round pick on O Line. We are investing heavily in it. If it doesn't work out it's not from lack of trying.

Purple for the win with a nice bit about KJ Osborn.

When one player gets elevated it means another player's stock has declined. It's not a matter of a rising tide lifting all of the boats.

The other players stock declines RELATIVE to the rising player, but not necessarily in an absolute sense. Just because Amazon is tearing it up, doesn't mean Microsoft isn't still a nice to have.

And the Dodgers are right there setting the example of what white uniforms are. Bright white.

Today was by far the most efficient #VikingsCamp practice yet.

The 1st-team defense looked solid today & once again Holton Hill put another quality day together. You can see the level of competition rising in WR group due to Holton’s play!

Number 11 looks pretty good, but he's not Treadwell. (It's Tajae Sharpe)

Isn't Tajae Sharpe the guy that in his first game as a professional made Trae Waynes look bad?

So it looks like Ezra Cleveland took some reps at tackle with Riley Reiff at guard at the end of offensive line-defensive line one on ones. Reiff did not necessarily prove to be an excellent guard in those two reps.

I tried to copy and paste, but this one didn't work. Technical difficulties with my phone

Worth reading Rick Sosa's takes on Twitter, though.

And this is what I was trying to post earlier Fri Rick Sosa on Twitter:

Camp takeaways:

Hunter absent again

Bisi holding strong to WR2

Lots of questions at LG

All backup QBs miles away from Cousins

JJ all the makings of a future star

Dantzler all but assured starter CB spot

Gladney puts pressure on Hughes for slot CB

NT another question mark https://t.co/XMCSTADQH4

This was a bit of a head scratcher for me "It helps that the quality of the second-team pass-catchers is relatively high compared to the second-team corners" ?!!

Maybe you're right. I was thinking that we get these reports about how someone looked good in his one on one battle, but if he did well it could mean the competitor failed. So from my perspective, it's really tough to know for sure when a player is doing well.

Mike Zimmer says Cam Smith had successful open-heart surgery yesterday. "They were able to fix the heart and he's in good shape."

The Vikings are going to practice in US Bank Stadium on Friday and will play 1 quarter as the home team and 1 quarter as the visiting team so players can get a feel for the crowd noise in both environments.

#Vikings coach Mike Zimmer was asked if it's a concussion issue on Ben Gedeon. Said he wouldn't discuss his situation but said, "I hope he gets the clearance tomorrow" to play.

“Bisi Johnson holding strong to WR2” and “JJ all the makings of a future star” don’t seem to fit together?

I saw where Hershel Walker endorsed Trump yesterday. That should solidly put Minnesota in the Biden back pocket. Perhaps the worst trade in NFL history.

But during his first game with the Vikes everyone in MN thought it was the best trade ever

I did! Something like 160+ yards. One TD run with one shoe off! Then reality hit.

I was in Korea, pre-internet days and my buddy called with the trade. He sequenced out what we gave up. At first, ok a #1 pick. Then players. Then another #1. Ugh. Then more players. Then another #1 and who knows what else. Holy S***!

The very definition of Super Bowl or bust.
