Every time I post I get the spinning wheel until I get an error screen. I figured out that if I reload the screen before it goes to error that prevents that problem.

Which positions are the most likely that the Vikings are not satisfied with what they have and will be exploring other options from players that are waived by other teams? It would have to be backup players, not starters. Tough cuts need to be made and if players are picked up from other teams it makes it even harder to make the necessary cuts, but it seems to me that the Vikings are not happy with the back end of their safeties and linebackers.

Trades happen sometimes, especially if a team plans on cutting a veteran and veterans come with a premium these days with the limited off-season. I could see the team trading for a guard. I hope they do, actually.

Conversely, which positions do the Vikings enjoy a luxury of quality depth and may find other teams willing to trade for players that we will have to part with? It may be the same question as which positions will the toughest cuts have to be made? Again, because of the limited off-season, I would think that other teams would be more interested in veterans who are cut. No positions come to my mind right now. We'll see soon enough I suppose. It feels like to me that the surprising cuts will be rookies that we assumed would make the 53 man team.

I'm concerned about several of the 15 rookies being cut. One of my faves James Lynch is rumored to be cut.

Camp summary

Several players poised for career years such as Bisi Johnson, Smith Jr, Hollins, Bradbury, J Johnson, Mata’afa, Watts, Holmes, Hill & Odenigbo

Rookies that impressed Dantzler, Jefferson & Osborn

LG with Dozier & NT with Stephen big question marks

(Rick Sosa on Twitter)

Camp Summary

Projecting 'career years' in camp is ludicrous (unless ofcourse you are talking about guys with NO careers possibly making a play or two [like Hollins, J Johnson, Mata’afa, Watts, Holmes]

Rookies that impressed: Danztler

Rookies that didn't impress: the other 4 million draftees

Big offseason question marks: IOL, IDL, #2WR

Big unresolved questions marks to start the season: IOL, IDL, #2WR

IMO the only one they addressed adequately – with a starting quality veteran – was IDL.

That took up most of the cap room.

Jefferson and Bisi will be fine.

Watts played about 10% of the snaps last yr (no PT through first 10 games or so then became part of rotation). Had two sacks, a forced fumble and had the highest pressure rate of any of our tackles last year (I think - there was some pressure rate I was impressed with but don't remember it ). Had a PFF score of 70. As a 6th round rookie.

I think he's gonna get PT at both 3T and DT. I see him becoming a playmaker. Gonna go out on a limb and say he and Pierce make a formidable duo next year.

NT and IOL definitely will make or break our season. Sucks Pierce opted out - can't blame FO for that.

IOL -

Totally agree. Watts definitely passed the eye test last year. I think he’s going to be a force this year.

I absolutely agree cant blame FO for Pierce. Dont think anybody has.

Stephen / Watt / etc are a big leap of faith to improve the group over last year which was b as barely okay by our standards (until the 49ers).

Johnson and Jefferson are imo are a big leap of faith to attack defenses play in and play out.

I really hope my low expectations are annihlated by good play early in the season.

Thielen's health is the big thing. Not as worried about Johnson and Jefferson.....depth if one of the three get hurt is my concern.

According to Tom Pelissero the Washington football team is releasing Adrian Peterson.

Have we picked up Ronnie Harmon yet to fill our void up front?
