Offense

I say, way to go Chris Jones!

Man, Jefferson + Winfield would have been homerun round 1
I keep seeing people say they “like what they see in Gladney”. Yes he’s on the field, but I constantly see him gettin burned and every grade I see on him show that as one of our worst defenders

Bradbury is absolutely terrible at pass blocking.

He simply doesn't keep his hands on the defender. He is more like a speed bump to the qb.

Bradbury has been a massive disappointment. There is a general theory you don’t spend a top pick on a C. You can get good Cs later on
Really looking like his ceiling his average at best
We all know we need major defensive help. But look at the grades our line still needs work.
Sometimes you can use these guys at other spots, but his lack of size means he’s stuck there
He’s on his way to a one contact and done with this team
It’s tough to remain a winner when you miss on picks like that

His 31.5 in arm length should have been a huge red flag in the draft war room.

Meanwhile the Packers take Eltgon Jenkins at #75 and is a complete stud.

Spielman flat out can't draft olineman or QB's

Gotta give Cousins credit when he gets it done

Carolina is truly horrible on D. But he was missing a all pro caliber WR and o line still has issues

That being said, he flat out failed vs a equally bad Dallas D. And equally so, people should admit it

That’s the thing, when your getting paid 33 mil. One for two vs bad defenses is not gonna cut it

I don't know how Jones was rated so high...he was getting his arse kicked.

It doesn't help that Harris must have taken the year off for Covid. Haven't seen him once this year.

Kirk Cousins is on pace to throw for 4,026 Passing Yards and 33 TDs.

..on a team that ranks 29th in the NFL in passing attempts. The Vikings throw the ball the 4th least in the business.

I saw this tweet last night...

Aaron Rodgers hit 50,000 yards passing and has thrown 88 INT.

for perspective, these QBs had this many INT's when they crossed 50,000 yards
T. Brady 136
P. Manning 180
D. Brees 173
B. Favre 230

Wow, the Packers have wasted him. He should have a couple more rings.

I knew he was good but not that good.

Saw some of that too Ron
Crazy how well he takes care of the ball
THOSE are important stats
Didn't I see something about Russ Wilson is the same way? Huge numbers, but half the interceptions of most of the greats.

Wilson has only 32,950 career passing yards so he didn't make the list. He has 78 Career INT's which is good but I doubt he crosses 50,000 yards anywhere close to Rodgers.

Mike McCarthy. Terrible coach with a great W/L record.

That's incredible. I know Manning threw a bunch his rookie year and more in his first 5 years or so before everything finally clicked.

Pack haven't made the SB since 2010, with a 6-7 post season record. We can all thank Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy. I don't rate Lafleur at all either.

T. Brady, P. Manning, D. Brees, B. Favre let's remember that these guys played the bulk of their primes prior to the current NFL pass happy with many rules changed to benefit the pass game.

The #Vikings have waived LS Austin Cutting and LB Hardy Nickerson.

Practice squad TE Brandon Dillon has been protected and CB Marcus Sayles has been released from the practice squad.

Chris Tomasson@christomasson
Source says the #Vikings plan to sign long snapper Austin Cutting to the practice squad if he clears waivers, which is expected. They want to keep him in the offseason program and possibly battle for the job next year.

You know how hard its been for Hardy Nickerson to hide in the locker room this long?
Longest NFL career I can recall.

Active roster is down to 51 now. This seems like a precursor of more moves to come.
Mark Fields should be back from IR soon. Maybe Holton Hill too? He hasn't been designated for return, though. Keep an eye on recently-waived Eagles safety Will Parks.

(He added this): As @christomasson points out, signing Andrew DePaola to the active roster and getting Adam Thielen from the COVID list would get the roster back to 53. So there may not be any additional moves outside of those

What happened to that amazing ability to snap a ball with the laces up each and every time?

Another wasted 6th rd pick

This game featured Cousins' first game winning drive after the two-minute warning as a Viking

Oy. I think we have to start limiting his touches to like 20-25/game, long term.

Justin Jefferson is averaging 12.8 yards per TARGET this season. That's over a yard better than anyone else in the league.

(Fuller and Julio are at 11.7, Metcalf at 11.5)

Thought Cook didn't look like himself this last game.

Unsure why they don't run more of a platoon system with the other rb's. Their going to get Cook killed.

bit of a catch-22.

Struggle without him being at his best, use him too much and he gets too beat up.
