According to this website the Vikings odds to make the playoffs have now increased to 34%. I do believe they control their own destiny. If they win out they will be in.

Sorry. Here it is:

If the Cardinals win the prediction is 30% chance the Vikings make the playoffs. If the Cardinals lose the rate goes up to 39%. It was less than 10% a few weeks ago.

Rams just went up 14-7. Arizona with 1 pass completion in the 1st half.

Once we went up by four Zim goes turtle mode asap.

Beside JJ lighting it up about the only plays I really liked the last 2 games was the pitch to Ham last week and the toss to him this week. It seemed like they were the only plays that caught the defense off guard.

Conklin with one catch. Rudy zero.

Rudy is seriously underutilized considering what were paying him. One TD catch on the year.

Despite not using him much in the RZ we still have been extremely efficient scoring TDs this year.

Assuming the Rams hold on here, then the Vikings are in the 7th seed position. If they win next week they are in the 6th seed place.

Watching Stefanski's Browns dominate Tennessee on the road brings me back to the Childress/Tomlin situation. Vikings let a young coach go to another team while hanging on to an old, Set-In-His-Ways coach.

Stefanski runs a play at the goal line using an eligible O-Lineman for a TD. Zimmer would never run anything like that.

Tomlin went on to win a Super Bowl. Stefanski? With the loveable losers in Cleveland? Before the Vikings?

That would really blow...

Did Zimmer get another extension yet? Man wouldn't it be nice to finally beat Brady!

Maybe so. The Browns have had a nice schedule so far and have been moderately impressive.

The lads are #1 in red zone efficiency, it doesn't matter how it's done they're finding the end zone.

Must say I was quite upset when they didn't call Cook's play a TD and then the eventual false start. Had the over at 51.5, that play definitely cost me a big pay day.

Agree, too early to tell on Stefanski, but we know what Zimmer is and it's not a great head coach.

I don't have too much commentary on the game today. I watched it in its entirety but did so at the house of our best of friends who were having us over to meet their two-week-old baby that they struggled so long and hard to make a reality. There was just too much positivity and happiness and it outshined some pretty mediocre and unimaginative football. I'll say this - that was no offensive PI on Jefferson on that 40-some-yard catch near the end. If we were the green and gold there would have been no flag and the announcers would have pissed themselves as they gushed about the greatness of Cousins and the future greatness of Jefferson. We're the Vikings though, so we know that's not our reality. A win is a win and if we make the playoffs I hope we upset everyone.

I wouldn't give ANY qb $30-50+ mil unless that QB had won me a Super Bowl. Did you win a Super Bowl on your rookie deal? Yes? Great! Here's your hugenormous contract. F it let's just run victory laps and love life. No? Good luck. Next!

Well, the multi-millionaire QB was subpar and we had the milk carton pass rush, but it was a win. Watching that game was like trying to push a turd uphill.

I guess since we've got the best red zone offense in the league, "Zimmer", calling the plays in the coach's box up in the stands, doesn't feel the need to resort to trickery.

True, but that was not the point of the original post. How convenient of you to cut out the rest so you could start your snarky shit again.

We have played some pretty poor teams but the defense is missing its two starting CBs, two Pro Bowl LBs and its 2 best DLineman(one of which is an All Pro).

And we are in the Playoffs if they started today.

And I think we have went for the jugular(offensively) quite a few times this year. Has it worked out all the time? No.

It seemed appropriate to point out your stupid shit again. But in more comedic than snarky way.
