ORIGINAL: Viking Rich Watching Stefanski's Browns dominate Tennessee on the road brings me back to the Childress/Tomlin situation. Vikings let a young coach go to another team while hanging on to an old, Set-In-His-Ways coach. Stefanski runs a play at the goal line using an eligible O-Lineman for a TD. Zimmer would never run anything like that. I guess since we've got the best red zone offense in the league, "Zimmer", calling the plays in the coach's box up in the stands, doesn't feel the need to resort to trickery. We have played some pretty poor teams but the defense is missing its two starting CBs, two Pro Bowl LBs and its 2 best DLineman(one of which is an All Pro). And we are in the Playoffs if they started today. And I think we have went for the jugular(offensively) quite a few times this year. Has it worked out all the time? No. You didn't mention Kendricks being FIRST team All-Pro. Hunter/Griffin, in which you imply were, haven't achieved that. I was talking about Hunter and Pierce. Wasn't Hunter 2nd team All Pro one year?
