THIS is how a professional athlete, from ANY OTHER sport, should throw out a first pitch.
They just should.

Yup, still hung up on this thing.

How about this one?

Throws hard in a Jacque Jones sorta way.

He did a Carl Lewis.

The one that I really don't understand is Denard Robinson. How can you spend the majority of your life throwing a ball at a high level, then suddenly look like you never threw anything in your life?

Kluber in his last 11 starts has 120 strikeouts.
Hard to imagine that kind of pitching excellence.
Will be interested how he does against the Yanks tonight.

Watching Garcia pitch tonight.
Not impressed at all so far. Has given up 4 hits and 4 runs through 3 innings. Granted it's a small sample size.

Just watched a segment on the Nats' bully

3 closers to end games now with Kintzler/Madson/Doolittle

minimum from all 3 is 95 ish

Kintsler was barrelling in Bryant. he did not like it at all.

Byrnes raving about the movement on his fastball.

Hope they don't put to much pressure on him.

They gave Madsen/Madson the 8th.

Cubs were swinging to tie it up vs all 3.

Several of them about came outta their shoes with youthful wild misses.

Harold believes Dusty could mix them all up to situations from here out.

Eachof them allowed a baserunner, but got out of the inning easily.

Pretty stout if Dusty isn't greedy and burns them all out.

Which he is well-known to do.

Yonder Alonso traded to Seattle 1 1/2 games back in the wild card race.
Traded 1-1 for Boog Powell

M's also picked up a pitcher and catcher from Tampa, who is just ahead of them.

DeRosa does such a nice job of breaking down hitters, their struggles, their adjustments , etc
Very good educational stuff every morning on MLB tv if you're ever looking to see some interesting analysis.
Hitting a baseball is tough.

Indians / Rockies today on there.
Good one to watch.
The Tribe has found their groove.
We need to focus on the WC.

They should get their best player back in a couple of weeks though. That should help.
